Oliver

Oliver is a 1 year old Turkish Van in Winter Garden, FL, who needs $3,000 for Bladder Stone Removal Surgery.

Winter Garden, FL

We rescued Oliver from a wonderful shelter. He had been brought in after a couple started their car and heard meowing in the engine. He was so small the ladies at the shelter called him Tiny Tim. We brought him home the very first day he was cleared for adoption. Oliver has been diagnosed with bladder stones. He is on a special diet to try and dissolve them, but it is not working. He will require surgery. The vet has told me with surgery and staying on the prescription food stones will not redevelop. Oliver is a family cat. He greets us at the door when we come home. He is very affectionate. He is constantly snuggling and has no respect for anyone’s personal space. He wants to be as close to someone as he can. After losing my 17 year old cat 2 years ago I didn’t think I could ever be a cat owner again, but Oliver reopened my heart so quickly that I rescued Tynan two weeks later. We recently relocated across the country (which coincidently brought me to him) and the cost of moving has taken its toll. Oliver is everything to me, the love of my life.

Pudding

Pudding is a 9 month old Poodle in Orlando, FL, who needs $2,000 for Removal of Sock From His Intestine or Colon.

Orlando, FL

We got pudding as a special addition to our little growing family. He is an adorable puppy that we love and want to keep. He works well with our family and lives with us in our little duplex. Pudding unfortunately ate my 9 month son’s socks. He now has been hospitalized and receiving treatment for 2 days. He is currently at the Urgent Vet in Fairbanks winter park Fl. Pudding is special as he is the same month as my son. We got him because we wanted him to grow up with our 2 kids. He loves our kids and our kids love him. Right now my husband and I are establishing our business and have limited funds as starting and growing a business is difficult. I am also doing full time ministry and am in the beginnings of raising funds for my own salary. I have been running a ministry without pay.

Leo

Leo is a 13-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Oakland, FL, who needs $2,000 for Pleural Effusion.

Oakland, FL

Leo came to me through a rescue, he was found as a kitten outside a fire station. When I arrived at the rescue, immediately as I was walking past a cage, a little brown and black paw reached out to me and it was love at first sight. They really do say cats choose you and I couldn’t be more grateful and honored that this amazing, sweet, loving and silly boy chose to love me when I needed it most Leo is shy but he’s a lover to everyone and I’ve heard the same thing from them too “I never like cats but I love him”. From sleeping on the patio chair, his fluffy bed or even on or between my legs, he always wants to be in the mix being silly or cute especially when my mom or grandpa walks in. He’s a daddys boy, he follows me around and if I can’t be found. You bet he will make himself known I can always find Leo with his favorite fish taco or meowing to a can that he doesn’t know what it is even if I put the water on to block the sound. My favorite thing about him is how talkative he is with me, sometimes it feels like a full conversation, when he runs to me for cuddles especially during a thunderstorm or it’s the best when he’s laying upside down with his ear inside out passed out Leo recently developed a respiratory problem where fluids built up around his lungs giving pressure on them to the point where he can’t fully breathe in. It’s now to the point where besides laying down, anything he does exhausts him because of the pressure and I find him gasping for air. Dr. Kondru at Hamlin animal hospital here in Florida has given him medication but my sweet boy needs more I recently lost my job and used every cent I had left to bring to him for an exam, X-rays and medication but ultimately he’s gonna need surgery. Leo is my everything since the day he chose me, I would give everything, anything and myself for him to be healthy and happy
