Reign

Reign is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Renton, WA, who needs $5,493 for TPLO/MPL Surgery.

Renton, WA

Reign has been my dog since 2019 after she was rehomed by a family friend, my family received a text and picture and as soon as we saw her, there was no turning back. We knew that we were meant to be her forever home. She’s nine now, but she hasn't slowed down a bit. She still has that same energy and so much life left in her, which makes seeing her sidelined by this injury even harder. Coming home from work one day, I noticed she wasn’t putting any weight on her left rear leg. She was evaluated by a vet and diagnosed with a CCL rupture and luxating patella—the human equivalent of an ACL tear and a dislocated kneecap. Learning the severity of the injury was heartbreaking, and hearing the cost of surgery was even scarier, but I am comforted by the fact that this is a fixable issue I am determined to get Reign this surgery so she can return to the long walks she enjoys and get back to playing with the puppies she welcomed in 2023. Her loyalty and love is one of a kind and has anchored my life since the day we met. She has so much more life to lead, and I’m committed to making sure she gets back to the active, joyful life she deserves. Asking for help and money is not in my nature and truly a last resort, but Reign’s well-being and quality of life are worth the little embarrassment it takes to ask. Thank you for taking the time to read our story; we are grateful for any contribution you are able to make <3

Beep

Beep is a 14 year old Chihuahua in Kent, WA, who needs $1,400 for Possible Heart Failure and Adrenal Gland Insufficiency.

Kent, WA

My best friend Beep has been with me all 14 years of his life. He is 3/4 Chihuahua and 1/4 miniature Dachshund. He was neutered at 9 months old. He lives with me and our other bestie, Toto the cat. We live in an apartment setting. Beep had a grand mal seizure out of nowhere, and I took him to his vet. He had an emergency exam, blood work, and 3 specialized tests, which led to where we are now. Beep needs another hormone test and possibly an ultrasound. He also needs a chest xray to check for heart failure. He is on anti-seizure meds now and also now being treated for dry-eye. His vet is at Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital. Beep is the sweetest dog I’ve ever known. He just wants everyone to be happy. He’s very silly and his favorite toys are his squeaky lambchop and his mini teddy bear. He’s very bonded to Toto the cat and loves to cuddle with her. He also enjoys “zoomies” with Toto. His innocent disposition and constant kisses gives him a puppy-like personality, even in his older years. I am a low-income disabled widow, and I had my identity stolen last year. Now I don’t have enough money or credit to pay for all of the vet bills for what Beep needs. After severe family tragedy and loss, seeing my Beep healthy again would mean the world to me.
