Ruby came into our lives in a time of need. My previous shitzu mix I had was 10years old when our family made the difficult decision of putting her down. Ruby came to us a short while after and has had our hearts from day one. She was only 4months at the time we got her. She means a great deal to our family. She is almost 2yrs now. She lives with us in Wickenburg, AZ Ruby gets a long with anyone she meets and will lick you to death if you let her. There is someone always home with her and is feed 2 times a day and gets lots of exercise. She even comes on road trips with us. In the mornings she will lay her head on our chest or shoulders until we look at her then she gets her tail wagging and licking some mornings I don't like it but she is a cutie for sure. Since COVID 19 has hit I am the sole worker in the family right now and have been for a while. I have already spent over 500 dollers of my own money on Ruby and still needs testing for a couple of different diseases and they are expensive. I do need a little extra help. Ruby has been pretty healthy. About 7mo ago I took to a vet because she became very lethargic running around in circles then collapses. IV fluids giving and blood work done the vet had no answers to why she behaved this way. Now a 2nd occurrence has happened and they are thinking Addisons disease and the test is expensive along with the meds. She is being seen by Dr. Lara Shreve at HVS, Wickenburg Ruby is one of those dogs that when you meet her you will never forget the personality or how cute she is. She is a great lover and enjoys being around the family every min. I try and tale her into the stores with me she is a emotional support animal for me and is a little bit of a diva and spoiled just a little.
