Gojo is a one year old white American short hair. He has one blue eye and one hazel. He lives with his family 3 girls whom hes in love with. Me and my husband. He is a very important member of this family and is often used as a furry best friend and support animal. Gojo is an indoor cat. He does not have the guile or cunning of an outdoor cat and got out on 7/23. We searched and searched and through the kindness of many we found him but he had been attacked by another animal. He needed an amputation but were concerned he may need further amputation. I took him to the vet and the whole tail needs to be removed. Hearts Alive Village is bringing a specialist We This cat is irreplaceable. He is sweet and loving. He loves to get pets and give kisses. Hes a best friend to my daughters. They say you can tell him anything and he will listen and not tell. For me I have adhd ptsd, and destined. He calms me, talks to me, hangs out with me. He is definitely a special guy. I think you may be able to see it in the pictures Im low income stay at home Mom. I have some mental health issues that prevent me from working. This family would be beyond grateful and appreciative of any help. We love him deeply and you would be helping us not loose an intergalactic part of our family.
Chiquilin

A month before the planned date to get my dog Marylu fixed in 2013 she got pregnant. I was able to find homes for all her offspring except for Chiquilin and Chespirito, the only two black ones she had. No one wanted them. So i kept them. And it was the best decision I've made in my life. They have been my children, my best friends and my companions. Last year Chiquilin showed a lump, rather a mass protruding from her leg. I took him to Hearts Alive Village and the estimate for the mass removal was $800 dollars. Fortunately i was able to afford it and he had it removed before Christmas. Then this year another malign mass appeared on his chest. The same clinic made an estimate this time for $500 dollars. Chiquilin, unlike his brother who is very shy, is a people's dog. He's very friendly, very curious about meeting new friends and loves to go to the parks in the afternoons. Trips with him at the parks are usually long because he loves to sniff around everything: grass, trees, bushes. With him is not just walk from point A to point B but rather countless points since he enjoys smelling everything. This time, unless back in December, i can not afford his surgery. I have had two Social Security appointments and i have another one for August and my Social Security Pension depends on that. If I had the money like i did last year i would not ask for help for his operation.

Shadow is more than a pet he is a family member he was a Christmas present to myself (unique vega) from my fiance and he is also my emotional support animal We took Shadow to Durango animal hospital and they provided us with meds for Shadow to help manage his pain he has been getting lil better pain wise but his right front arm is still needing to get checked and better Shadow is very special and matters to our family because he is our first pet to our family. And my very first emotion support animal. He always loves cuddling and racing with the kiddos and going to the park or car rides and he is very active I just want him back to being active I would love any support for my Shadow. He is so active and playful and my kids miss being able to race with him or go to the park with him we are hoping for him to get better and back out to running and playing at the park

I am 45, never married, single. I have zero desire to enter the dating market so Ive been considering getting a dog for awhile. I got a phone call from a friend at church saying they were a Choc Lab/Weimeraner mix pup that needed rehomed in 36 hours. Now, was I as prepaired as I wanted to be when I said "yes" - no. But my quality of life has already massively improved Buddy went Evel Knievel off his dog ramp as it was fully extended and being cleaned, and got a spiral fracture in his front right humerus. Super smart, he was house trained in an upstairs apartment in less than a week. I have recently had both knees replaced, the last one lead to wight gain, which led to prediabeties, which led to acute sever gout, which was dibilitating. Buddy has already chaqnged that for me. I adopted Sam from a coworker, who found her. I became her mom at 7wks old. She was healthy until she got fixed by Petsmart, then she started to get skin allergies and ear infections a lot. I would take her for her allergy injections which are $130. I've been out of work since Feb 2025, due to 6 life-saving surgeries. She's my emotional support animal and tattoed on me years ago. Please Help!!! Sammy was diagnosed with cancer on 1/2/26. The surgery to remove the two masses is $1303. She goes to Hearts Alive Village. We already had a chest and body x-ray performed to make sure that it was just those two spots. We would like to get them removed, before they spread. She also needs updated vaccines and allergy shot, as stated above for $130. Sammy is a lover and swears that she is a lap dog. She loves her mom's homemade dog cookies, cheese, bread, tortillas, pizza crust, and ice cream. She is very verbal, she grumbles when she wants you to keep petting her. She loves to sunbathes daily. She loves to go on her little walks and hikes when we're healthier. She never had training but knows how to help with anxiety attacks. She loves kids! I had a surgery 1/2024 and they messed up, requiring another surgery a month later. I still wasn't fixed & ended up needing life saving surgery 2/2025 and 5 other surgeries to fix their mistakes. I had surgery 3/11 and have another spine surgery coming soon. PLEASE HELP HER!

My dog Oreo came into my life when he was just one month old. He is 7 months now so I had him since he was just a baby. I came up with Oreo because he’s black and white. He has an infection called parvo he got diagnosed with it on march 16th. He is a playful puppy always nice to everyone but everything changed he didn’t wanna play he didn’t wanna eat he was just throwing up. I’m trying to get help for him he is only 7 months and I would like for him to be here longer. Oreo is a happy puppy he loves everyone and when I say everyone it’s everyone. He gets excited when we take him on walks he loves when his dad plays with him. Oreo is the best cuddle buddy you could ask for. I would be so grateful if I get a little help with his expenses it was something we didn’t see coming or expected. We are struggling a little bit to pay his bills I’m trying to get as much help as I can.

Mochi came into our family as a 4 week old kitten. Her original family had no space for her and she was happily adopted. She loves her new home and made herself at home within just a few days. Happily zooming through the upstairs and downstairs tackling her new older sister cat Sammy. Mochi loves cuddles and climbing up your pant leg to pirch on your shoulder. A full time biscuit making machine! Being curious kitten, she attempted to leap onto to second floor banister and instead cleared the banister completely. She fell straight down to the first floor and fractured her back right femur. Within the 30min she was having x-rays at Ann Roads Animal Hospital in Las Vegas. The fracture clear. Her new Vet explained 2 options being Surgery to fix her leg or to remove it. She is the happiest, cuddliest, sweetest, and most curious kitten we have every had the blessing of having. Mochi loves to play with her Shiny fish on a string and would play until she can no longer stand, then play some more. As well as making biscuits on every surface she can. Too kind to harm even a fly despite her loving bite her toy fish. The sudden accident has left us in a bit of tailspin with our finances. Sending our oldest to college and regular life has left us tight. We want Mochi to have the best life possible. My guilt of not being able to do the most for her is crushing my wife and I.

Thor, so named as he is a Dane, a Viking, and he has a white T on his chest, what else could he be named? He came from a private breeder in California chosen by us from a litter of 12- mother and grandfather were on the premises so we knew he would grow up to be a handsome boy looking at them! We have had him since he was 12 weeks old and he will be 8 at the end of January 2026. It was the worst start to New Years Day ever- Thor developed bloat so required immediate attention to untwist his stomach and remove his spleen also- Hearts Alive Village vets in Las Vegas operated on him immediately and thankfully he survived the surgery- we got him back 3 days later and he appears to have made a fine recovery from such a major surgery and we look forward to more years with him. He is a real character and I take him everywhere that dogs are allowed in restaurants and stores- he will just proudly stand there head held high and let everyone pet him, At home he lives with our 4 lbs rescue gray tabby Samantha who of course rules the roost! He is a typical good natured Dane who thinks he is a lap dog as you can see in some of my attached photos. I an 72 and retired although I do some part time work at a PetSmart as a dog trainer, a labor of love of course, My wife Diane is also retired so being on fixed incomes a hit for major surgery out the blue is very difficult financially so any help would be so appreciated.

After performing diagnostic tests, the veterinarians discovered a mass on King’s spleen that needed to be removed. At home, King is affectionate and calm. He loves spending time with Russell, whether they’re going for walks, relaxing together, or simply enjoying each other's company. For Russell, King is not just a pet—he is family, a best friend, and a source of strength. Russell is currently facing financial hardship and is doing his best to care for himself and King. He has limited vision, with blindness in one eye, which makes it extremely difficult for him to find steady employment and earn a reliable income.

Hi my wonderful titan came into my life 10/2/2016. I really wanted a dog and i went on Craigslist and found him. They guy selling him was like just give me a $100 and he is yours… done deal lol I’m glad i did get him too because he was brought to me in a big plastic tub with wood chips on the bottom of tub. Now 8 years later her we are. My dog needs a splenectomy asap or he will die within a couple weeks. I went to the Vet they told me he that he need a splenectomy and we should do surgery. Then blood work came back with high w/b cells so it might be cancer. The original doctor at Hearts alive told me that he needs this spleen remove asap and it might not be cancer because it’s not spreading. I want to give him a fighting chance Titan is very special to my family he is my dad’s comfort dog. He is involved in everything i do. He is so gentle and has a funny dogality. He is big love bug We had unexpected financial emergency come up and it took all emergency funds. And now titan need a little emergency fund of his own..I just need a little help to get my fur bay healthy

As of May 16, 2025, Bruce is 4 days shy of his first birthday. We adopted Bruce from Hearts Alive Village in August 2024. This week, our world turned upside down. On Sunday, Bruce fell critically ill, and within 48 hours, he was in emergency surgery to remove a blockage caused by a small piece of rubber he had eaten. The procedure addressed multiple inguinal hernias and saved his life. We took Bruce to Hearts Alive Village veterinarian to assist with his condition. On Thursday, the vet advised we consider comfort care. My family’s hearts broke, but I continued to visit Bruce, holding onto hope. During one visit, Bruce did something miraculous. He rolled onto his back—a position he loves when we’re together—and reached for my hand, just like we always do. A miracle he came home. Bruce is more than a pet—he’s my lifeline, helping me manage chronic pain and health challenges as a disabled person living on limited SSDI income. His unconditional love has been a beacon of hope for me, especially he serve as an emotional support animal or informal therapy dog. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward: Outstanding veterinary bills, Medications for Bruce. With my own surgery looming and medl bills. Bruce’s surgery, ongoing veterinary care, medications, and special recovery materials have exhausted my resources. A generous $500 grant from a charity helped, I’m still unable to cover his medical bills and post-operative care.

He was seen this past Saturday at Rainbow Animal Hospital. He has been limping in discomfort for almost two weeks. Mister Moon has a very bright personality and makes our family whole. He is great with my two school aged children and my two other cats. He truly is a gift. She’s will die without the life-saving surgery. at any point in time honey’s uterus can rupture which will ultimately end her life. We need help paying for this life-saving surgery. She loves kids and taking care of other little puppies even though Chows are on the dangerous breed list honey wouldn’t hurt a fly. She is the best dog, she gives us so much love we would be lost without her. Please help save her. This surgery is very expensive and unfortunately we are low income. I have already so some of my belonging to save her. We would do anything. I have paid for a majority already not to mention three other exam fee as I have paid for $75 three time for exam fees
