Zeus
Zeus is a 8 year old Rottweiler in York, PA, who needs $2,000 for Elbow Reconstruction.
York, PA
We brought Zeus into our home when he was 10 weeks old. After meeting him at the pet store, we all knew he was part of the family and he came home with us that very day. We actually named him Dr. Zeus, similar to the famous author Dr. Seuss. When he was a baby my wife would put him in a baby sling and carry him around while she worked. His temperament is very chill. He’s friendly, but protective. About 3-4 months ago he injured his left front leg and could not put any weight on it at all. He would wince and yelp anytime he applied pressure to it. We monitored him closely for a few days and the pain seemed to subside. However every couple of weeks, he’s limping all over again, like he injured himself again. Now his elbow is disfigured. We need to get it checked but have no money for the vet My son and him practically have been growing up together. Zeus was born January 2nd of 2016 and my son was born December of the same year. He’s a major part in all of our lives. We’re in the process of training him to be a support/therapy dog. We want to share his uniqueness with as many people as we can. He really is an amazing dog and in this case, the phrase “man’s best friend” proves true!!! My wife and I made career changes about 9 months ago and have been working diligently to stabilize our finances. Zeus’s injury is not something we prepared for and it’s safe to say that his treatment will not be cheap. We need him healthy, just don’t have the means for it.

Graci
Graci is a 8 year old Shih Tzu in Dallastown , PA, who needs $1,000 for Cystotomy.
Dallastown, PA
I rescued Graci from the SPCA in 2018. I was unsure if I was going to get her because others were interested in her. It was "by the grace of God" that I got her so I named her Graci. She is my emotional support dog. I am 65, live alone, and am unable to work and live on fixed income. Graci has 2 large bladder stones and 3 small ones positioned against her bladder wall. They need to be removed. Hill St Veterinarian Clinic is performing the surgery Graci talks by grunting. It's so funny. She has alot to say. She likes to cuddle, gets excited when family or friends come to visit. She loves my 2 next door neighbors and has 2 dogs she's friends with. I got divorced in 2014, started receiving social security disability shortly after. I can't charge anymore money to credit cards as I'm struggling to pay what I have. It would mean so much to have my Graci not suffer and be healthy again

Bo
Bo is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in York, PA, who needs $1,142 for Multiple Tooth Extraction, Tartar/Abscess Removal.
York, PA
Bo is a pug mix who was adopted into our home as a rescue. From the moment we saw him at the shelter, we knew he was a part of our family. He's been with us for 8 years now, and is the best companion any of us have ever had. He's a little old man who has never failed to make us feel better, even in the hardest of times. We want to return the favor and get rid of his pain. Bo was rescued at the age of 1 from the streets, and came to us with dental issues. Originally, it was just tartar build-up that wasn't bothering him. Over the years, it's progressed and led to abscesses, tooth-infections, and lots of pain for him. He needs surgery to treat the abscesses and remove damaged teeth. Watching him shake in pain and hesitate to eat has been so difficult for us. Bo is the most loving dog you will ever meet. He loves everyone, and adores pets. He spends most of his time cuddled up on the couch with his owners and his two feline sisters. He goes wild over anything pumpkin flavored. He hates the rain and snow, and always has. He'll go as far as wriggling out of his harness to run back towards the house if we try to walk him while it's raining or snowing. We have always struggled to make ends-meet, sometimes even having our electricity shut off due to not having the funds to pay it. It's always been a struggle to support ourselves and our pets, but having our boy healthy again will make give us more joy than you can imagine.

Maggie Mae
Maggie Mae is a 1-year-old Shetland Sheepdog in Windsor, PA, who needs $2,000 for a fracture repair.
Windsor, PA
Maggie Mae came in our life as a surprise for my kids about a year ago. She currently owns 2 children (that's what shelties do 🤣) She has 2 big brothers that are pit bulls and definitely runs the house. She is a little ball of energy that loves to chase tennis balls and play fetch! She is very loved and we couldn't imagine life without her. She is a great little dog (15 lbs) that gets along great with her 2 pit bull brothers as well as my 5 year old daughter and 15 year old son. My son is definitely "her person" and she follows him everywhere. She is super sweet and totally happy to meet anyone, especially kids. We try to take her places with us because she is so friendly. I am just starting back to work and already have $1000 into bandage changes and x-rays over the last 7 weeks. I have no savings left and 2 other dogs and 2 children to take care of as well. It would mean the world to me if people can help by making donations directly. Maggie has always been a healthy pup. Up until 7 weeks ago when a child size trampoline fell on her leg and fractured it. The treating vet is Dr. Cooley at Hill Street Veterinary Hospital. We have had it in a splint for the past 7 weeks and it's not healing so the next step requires surgery to repair. Maggie Mae is a super funny little gal. You will have her full attention if you have a ball in your hand and she will play fetch ALL DAY LONG if you let her. She gets super excited when she sees "cookies" she starts to do little spins like a little spinning furry top! She loves to go for car rides and stick her little head out the window.
