Harley
Harley is a 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in Thousand Oaks , CA, who needs $10,000 for Emergency Ovariohysterectomy and Aftercare.
Thousand Oaks, CA
Harley came into our lives as a birthday gift for my husband and a companion for our 7 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback, Chopper. We adopted her at 6 weeks old from a family who had lost their house in the Santa Ana fires. We immediately knew her name should be Harley because my husband has two bikes and we named our boy dog Chopper. Following her last heat cycle, Harley suddenly became incredibly weak and ill. After an emergency vet visit, to Horizon Veterinary Hospital we received the devastating news. She has a life-threatening uterine infection Pyometra. Because her cervix is closed, the infection is entirely trapped inside her body. Her uterus is heavily inflamed and filled with toxins, putting her at immediate risk She is our sweet bay girl. She’s silly and full of so much life. She just wants to play fetch with her ball all the time and when she’s not doing that she’s curled up next to you watching a movie or she’s playing with her companion her “big brother” Chopper. They are inseparable and as you can imagine is confused and looking for her. Our hearts are breaking for her I wish I could trade places. Due to a series of Financial hardships occurring during and after the COVID pandemic we became homeless we have been lucky enough to find room and board in a hotel but due to their breeds and we haven’t been able to secure a home and giving them up will NEVER be an option.

Chai Ti
Chai Ti is a 10 year old Siamese in Oak View, CA, who needs $3,000 for Antibiotics and Respiratory Supportive Care.
Oak View, CA
Chai Ti the Magnificent is the love of my life, my bestie, me emotional support cat. We rescued him from someone threatening to dump him on the side of the road, unneutered, shots, so we took him, got him fixed, shots, & has been the sweetest, most handsome, & smart boy we've ever had. We always strive to give our cats the best food, supplements, entertainment and toys, so Chai and his playmates have always been so healthy. He's been diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection, had exploratory for a suspected blockage that wasn't there, and now has a mild heart condition. The heart condition is treatable, but he needs ICU, antibiotics, and tube feeding to get food into him. He was so 'shell shocked' when we brought him home, and shut down. To get him out of his shell, I worked with him to learn 13 different commands. We've given him 8 happy years out of his 10. He is the light of our life, and we want to give him many more. This sudden illness has caught us off guard, even though we had a Care Credit set aside for vet care. We've maxed that out, and another card; balance to date is $6924, of which we've paid $4307. We just had to put down a deposit to replace an old, dead vehicle. We're tapped.

Rocket
Rocket is a 9 year old Oriental Shorthair in Oxnard, CA, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Urethral Blockage.
Oxnard, CA
Rocket came into my life by pure chance. He was a little lost baby screaming his heart out in the middle of night. I've always had the mindset if you see or hear something do something. I scooped up this little terrified ball of fur and we were instantly bonded. I was born with very severe physically disability. But that has never stopped me doing all I can to help someone in need. Rocket is desperately fighting for his life from a severe urinary blockage and all its complications at Horizon Veterinary Specialists in Ventura California. Hes in critical condition and is being monitored round the clock because he's at risk for going into cardiac arrest. Rocket is my big baby. He is fast and very acrobatic. He loves playing fetch and getting belly rubs like a dog. But his expertise is stealing strings, hair ties and gloves. He's irrationally afraid of shadows on the ceiling, electric toothbrushes and my mom. He is always stalking and waiting to pounce one of his siblings or me. I'm on a very small fixed income. Within the first 20 minutes of care I was given a quote over 6x more than I make in a month. My baby's life is going to be dependent on whether I can afford to save him. Its not right I love him so much and I can't fathome living without him

Gyzmo
Gyzmo is a 9-year-old Tabby Cat in Ventura, CA, who needs $2,000 for Urinary Blockage.
Ventura, CA
Gyzmo and his brother Apollo came into our home as foster cats at 12 days old. Once it was time to give them up we decided to adopt them since my 2 kids and I got attached to them. We love them to the moon and back. They have never had any medical issues or concerns and now we are devasted that Gyzmo needs urgent treatment. Gyzmo and Apollo love to interact great with their human siblings and mom. They are cuddle buddies for sure. If any strangers enter our home they hide in closets, under the bed until they feel safe. All guest that come top our home find it funny that my kitties will not leave the house if any door, window is open, they figured all pets would love to explore the outside world, but not mine. My Gyzmo is such a love bug but also a little brat. He will try and steal his brothers food, he will throw moms knitted sweaters from the closet so he can lay down, he will also steal mom's bras and running around the house showing them off and hide when we try and take them away but most important he loves his human family. Gyzmo has never had any medical issues since I fostered him at 12 days old but he just got diagnosed with urinary blockage. He's a healthy eater and pretty active chasing after his brother so it was a shock to hear this diagnoses and we are extremely sadden but praying that he will be ok. I currently separated from my 20 year marriage, my car got broken into about a month ago, im a single parent to 2 human babies and 2 fur babies. My fur babies mean the world to us and having him will be happiness and emptiness back into our home.

Katie
Katie is a 8-year-old English Labrador in Santa Paula, CA, who needs $1,500 for CCL Repair .
Santa Paula, CA
Katie was a gift to me and my family from my late grandmother Brenda. She flew on a plane from Colorado to come into our family when she was just 7 weeks old! I believe she was the runt in the littler and was one of the few left out of her brothers and sisters. We are so lucky to have her. She is a blessing to our family. My brother has Austism and Katie has been a huge emotional support for him. She is his best friend. She is the sweetest dog we have every encountered and never gets violent or aggressive towards anybody. She is getting older but still has the temperament of a puppy. As our last gift from our grandmother she holds a special place in our heart. My Single mother was in a car accident about 2 years ago and broke her ribs, had a collapsed lung, and tore her ACL. She was going to go back to work, but everything stopped because of covid and now we can’t pay for our dogs surgery. We had our house foreclosed upon 2 years ago, so we have been living with my grandfather. His backyard is a mess and has a lot of levels to it. So Katie broke her hind leg jumping off one of the walls about a year ago. We have yet to accumulate the funds for her surgery. We fear that she has broken her other leg. Her surgeon is at Horizon Veterinary Specialist in Ventura. Katie is a sassy dog. She will give you the “look” and turn your back on you if you do something she doesn’t like. She will talk to you or grunt if she’s feeling up to it. She likes to play with her stuffed rocket popsicle toy and sometimes she’ll get really excited and run in circles and looks like she’s on a sugar high!
