This is Pita and he's the recent addition to my pet family. He's a crazy, funny full of energy 5 months old Jack Russell, Beagle,Pitbull mix. He's weighing in at 25 lbs & keeps on growing. He was a rescue @ 2 months old due he was being taken care of by the original owner. He's a friend to my 15 dog, he's my new heart & the Jack Russell in him takes over. He loves people, other dogs and his Mom Last night @ 6:30 4/26 he started throwing up. It finally stopped earlier this morning, but then the diarrhea started, he also just started to get sick again. He's lethargic, won't hardly drink any water, and won't eat. This is a sick puppy who needs to be seen urgently by the vet. I've applied for credit, tried to make emergency appointments but I'm broke rn and I'm scared to death for him. He's funny, talkative, full of energy, he's super smart, loving, and has 3 favorite people and a new "Girlfriend". He's happy, loves his toys, sleeping on top of me at bedtime, lol, & he loves his chicken and rice with broth. He follows me between my feet while nudging me with his toys and will follow me step by step and back up matching my steps. I love him so much & so does my old Guy Clancy I'm on SSI/SSA and I don't get paid till next week. I can't loose him, my heart will break and CLANCY and I will be lost without him. My heart is broken right now. To get him healthy again means more to me then my own health, please help us

I got Cora a year and a half ago when a friend of mine Queensland Healer dog had puppies and she was trying to find a good home for them. I was. Little reluctant at first because I already had 6 cats and was fostering a mamma cat and her 5 kittens and an older dog. But I saw Cora and immediately fell in love with her cute face. She has trained well and is kennel trained. She is so smart. Cora started acting not normal on Saturday. We think she ate a lizard that the cats killed. She isn’t eating much or drinking much. She is a little lethargic. I want to get her to the vet but I am broke this month. We have a vet we usually go to. House Of Paws, here in Visalia. Dr. Carol Adams is amazing and so is the staff. I think Cora may need antibiotics and check for any blockages (X-rays). Cora is everyone’s dog in this house. She provides protection and cuddles when she is around. She goes for walks with my daughter and tries to herd the cats around the house. Cora is 100% a member of our family. I usually would be able to charge this appointment but I am in the middle of debt/credit card consolidation and paying off some personal loans and some back IRS charges. My money is stretched so thin for the next 6 months. My credit has taken a nose dive too.
Truffles

We’ve had Truffles 🐶 in our care since October 2nd 2022. Truffles came in at the ripe age of 5 years old. She was no longer useful to her breeder and so they decided to give her the boot! 🥾 Truffles came to us, overbred, nipples dangling, her ear torn in half and many other scars. These were fighting injuries that had occurred in her breeding years. She was extremely kennel aggressive and food aggressive. She learned to fight for things that were important to her. Food & attention. This poor girl has been through the wringer. Sadly due to all the abuse she endured it has made Truffles need a very special home which we have not yet found. Fast forward 1 1/2 years later, Truffles eye started becoming weepy and cloudy. We made her a vet appointment. Truffles has developed entropion. A condition where the eyelid folds inwards. This results in the skin and eyelashes rub the eyeball, causing irritation and discomfort. Truffles needs surgery 😓 Without it, it will cause loss of vision. Truffles also has a skin tag on her toe and a small benign growth on her shoulder that we will have removed at the same time. This was not something we expected or planned for, and we do not have the funds to pay for her surgery. 😔 We’re really hoping that we can get some help towards her vet bill. We take in so many medical cases every year that would've otherwise been euthanized.
