Bentley
Bentley is a 8 year old French Bulldog in Scott Depot , WV, who needs $400 for Exam for Possible Stroke.
Scott Depot, WV
I have been Bentleys dog mom for almost 9 years. My sister n law brought him to me as a gift. I had a pug I lost and I was heartbroken. He filled my heart with happiness again. He was my saving grace. I had lost my father to suicide 4 months prior to losing my Emy. He means the world to me I cannot imagine my life without him. I have a pug her name is Maggie she is 14 years old. They are my loves On September 15th he had what I believe to be a stroke. After much research I’m almost certain that he did. I have been unable financially to get him any care., Bentley is still experiencing very concerning circumstances. He barely eats anything and he’s losing weight. I have never been in a situation where I cannot get either of my fur babies care. Hurricane animal hospital wil be the Vet hosp. Bentley has been such a blessing and best friend to me. He’s one of the sweetest most lovable dogs I’ve ever had. He loves children and he has never met a stranger. He loves car rides, walks, socializing and his toys. My son and I joke and say he’s a reincarnated human. I can’t list every adorable quirky thing he does. He’s just my special boy and I tell him daily along with lots of love. I have had ongoing health issues that have affected my ability to work full time. I have 2 autoimmune disorders and I have to get IV infusions every 8 weeks. I have several ruptured disc along with a list of back problems and pain. I am just so scared of losing him.

Lexi
Lexi is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Salt Rock, WV, who needs $2,000 for Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) Surgery.
Salt Rock, WV
My partner saved Lexi from an animal rescue shelter in 2019. She was an anxious dog at first but became very attached to my partner. I started seeing my partner in 2022 and I fell in love with Lexi instantly. We have a decently sized backyard for her to run around in and she gets constant attention from us. She even sleeps in bed with us almost every night. Lexi has had issues with back leg pain ever since I’ve been with my partner, but she was still able to get around easily. Recently she hurt herself badly while playing, and when we took her to the Hurricane Animal Hospital in Teays Valley, WV they said her CCLs in both of her back knees were completely torn, and the only good solution is surgery on one if not both her back legs. Lexi is the sweetest dog in the world to everyone. She’ll let you pet her all day if you want. There’s not a mean bone in her body. She constantly wants to be up against you or even in your lap. She has 3 cat sisters that she loves to cuddle and play with. Even now when it’s hard for her to walk she always wants to greet me when I come home and will follow me around the house with a big smile. We don’t make a lot of money, it’s difficult for us to cover vet visits but we make do. The consulting alone for the surgery is $500+, and it’s $3,000 for each leg. Lexi still has puppy energy despite her injuries and isn’t ready to leave us yet. We can’t lose her over money

Hank
Hank is a 11.5-year-old Pug/Boston Terrier in Scott Depot, WV, who needs $1,000 for critical care for pancreatitis and diabetic ketoacidosis.
Scott Depot, WV
Hank is an almost 12yo pug/Boston terrier mix who I've has been my best friend since I brought him home at 5wks (not by choice to bring him home that early). He's always been a healthy, albeit pudgy, guy until the last couple days. He has 4 furry siblings - Wednesday the pug, Cooper, a pug/dachshund who came to us as a result of an emergency cruelty seizure, as well as Boo & Herbie, 2 rescue cats Our pack includes myself, my retired K9 officer husband, Hank, Wednesday, Cooper, Boo & Herbie. Since my husband was medically discharged after being diagnosed with MS, he's relished being a stay at home pet dad. We live in a wonderful secure apt complex that includes a dog park so they enjoy daily walks or trips to the dog park. I have to admit they're spoiled. They even all sleep in bed w/ us I'd sell my soul to make him well again, but unfortunately, life doesn't work that way. Unlike Blanche on "The Golden Girls," I won't use "nature's credit card" & don't think Dr Sette would go for that either. My husband is a med retired cop & I work in the auto industry Hank has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and diabetic ketoacidosis. Before this, he wasn't diabetic. Since he's been a healthy dog until very recent, I took him to Dr Stone at the Fix Em Clinic where he has had his annual exams & was diagnosed. After diagnosis he was hospitalized at Hurricane Animal Hospital under Dr Sette, since the Fix Em Clinic doesn't hospitalize Hank knows a plethora of tricks. Everything from wave to roll over to whisper. My husband still swears that Hank is better trained than his partner was. Hank acts like a grumpy old man, & actually has since he was a puppy, but actually loves everyone, especially his beloved cat, Boo who was pregnant when I brought her in as a stray.
