Toro
Toro is a 3 year old Poodle in Riverside, CA, who needs $15,000 for Bilateral Partial Carpal Arthoodesis.
Riverside, CA
My dog Toro means the world to me. He just turned 3 years old August 1st. He loves to run and play and he loves playing with other dogs and children. He recently fell from a high of two stories and shattered both his wrists. He’s in need of surgery or he will have to be put down. He is young and has a long life ahead and I’m not ready to let him go. I can’t imagine my life without him Toro needs major surgery on both of his front legs and follow up costs. He has shattered both of his front wrists and is in need of surgery that costs over $13,000 and over $2,000 for aftercare I adopted Toro when he was a month old. He was my only companion throughout a very stressful divorce. He is my best friend. He is like a son to me. He has given me the unconditional love I needed to carry on with my life. He loves long walks and playing with other dogs and children. He loves squeaky toys and being chased around the yard I am a single divorcee with a lot of debt and I don’t qualify for any lines of credit to help cover medical costs. Toro and I live alone. We only have each other. I am given the choice to pay for this surgery or never see him or come home to him again

Choco
Choco is a 9 month old Labrador Retriever in Homeland, CA, who needs $2,000 for FHO Surgery.
Homeland, CA
Choco has been with me since he was 6 weeks old. The minute I saw him I just fell in love! I heard that brown Labs had such a loving laid back personality and Choco proved that rumor right. In the last month I noticed he started favoring his left leg. He does have 2 sisters around the same age and they play all the time. I thought he just injured his leg from the rough play. I noticed Choco started wanting to rest more so I made a vet appointment for him. After an exam and x-rays with Haven Animal Hospital, it was determined he has hip Dysplasia with mild osteoarthritis. Choco is such a loving doggy! The love he has for everyone is just comforting. He is so good with my grand babies too. It’s hard to think he was in pain all this time. Our vet referred him to Inland Empire Veterinary Surgical Specialist. After speaking with them the estimate for the surgery is $4800-$5800. Unfortunately this is not something I can afford. Even getting care credit, it would be a $500 payment a month which I do not have. I can’t imaging Choco being in pain for the rest of his life. Please help if you can. 🙏🏼
Charlie
Charlie is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Moreno Valley, CA, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO).
Moreno Valley, CA
Charlie came into our lives 8 years ago through a person who was selling rescue dogs. Charlie's parents were left in an abandoned house along with their puppies. The person who sold Charlie to us took all the puppies to find new homes. Charlie loves his stomach and ears scratched. He came to us at a great time because we lost our beautiful Golden Retriever (Buster) all of a sudden. Charlie started limping about 2 weeks ago. I took him to the vet to learn he had pulled the ligaments in his right knee and required surgery. The vet mentioned he is considered a senior citizen but to us he's family. We want to do everything we can to help him live longer and painlessly. Charlie is scheduled for surgery with a specialist at the Inland Empire Veterinary Surgery Center. He is a smart dog mixed with Akita/Labrador. He listens and knows exactly how to get what he wants. He's persistent and resilient. Even when he's not feeling well, he is happy and attentive. He's also a great guard dog who barks like a wolf. When I'm alone with him at night I feel 100% safe. Even though he protects his territory, he's also gentle and friendly. Recently, Charlie's stomach and intestines became entangled because of his size. We opted for emergency surgery and struggled to pay for it. My husband and I are retired, on a fixed income, and cannot afford another surgery. We love Charlie and unfortunately need help.

Max
MAX is a 13 year old Chihuahua in FONTANA, CA, who needs $2,000 for Perennial Hernia.
FONTANA, CA
Max is my 13 year old puppy. He was originally a gift for my 8 year old niece for Christmas. She eventually post interest in him while I was falling in love with him. He then became mine and my best friend ever. He's been with me through ups and downs from my mother's passing to my bilobectomy surgery. He's been the best companion I could.ever ask for. Max has a hernia by his rectum and a slight heart murmur. Vet says if the hernia goes untreated it will be life-threatening. It is making it difficult for him to go number 2. Max is a grumpy old man with everyone except me, with me he is a sweetheart a cuddle buddy a hugger and a kisser. He loves to take naps is always cold (which chihuahua isnt?) Loves to play hide and seek. I am currently on disability due to finding a malignant tumor on my right lung (stage 1) I live paycheck to paycheck and being on disability has been rough. Having max healed would.mean the world since he is my world. He has been my recovery buddy. My best friend.

Max
Max is a 2-year-old Cane Corso in Apple Valley, CA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.
Apple Valley, CA
Hi everyone. Max my gift from my friends. No one knew that Max had a congenital disease - hip dysplasia. Max is my best friend. He is my son. I am very worried about Max, as he may become disabled and he is experiencing pain in his right leg now. Max and I live together. I'm expecting a baby who is due in January, I work a lot, but I can't work enough to provide Max with a second operation. I operated on one leg and 2 joints, taking 2 credits this spring, but now Max has begun to limp on his second right leg, since the operation must be done on both legs in turn. Max has helped me through some of the most terrible situations in my life. He is my son and best friend. He was always there in the most difficult times. Just like me for him. Max has already undergone 2 surgeries on his left leg; he has implants in the pelvic and knee joint of his left leg. Now he needs surgery on his right leg. We had our surgery at Inland Empire Veterinary Surgical Specialty in Rancho Cucamonga. Now I'm expecting a baby and I'm a single mother. Due to pregnancy, I can no longer work as much as before. But I'm trying really hard. No insurance will cover us for the the operation, since it is a congenital disease. I'm currently paying off 2 loans of $10,000.

Bo
Bo is a 3-year-old American Bulldog, Shepherd in Cherry Valley, CA, who needs $1,950 for Anal Glands Removal.
Cherry Valley, CA
Bo was a gift to my 2 year old son and I, we have had him for several months but you would think that we've had him since birth. My son and Bo have an unbreakable bond and do everything together, he is very protective over both of us and my Mom who is confined to a wheelchair. Bo is in training as a Therapy Dog and is amazingly obedient. I often take his leash off and put it on my son for safety. Bo sleeps in our bedroom with us, on the floor and we usually wake up and he is in bed with us at our feet. My son usually wakes up yelling "Get down, Bobo, get down!" As he likes his own space. Every morning we take a mile walk and Bo has several friends and a girlfriend along the way. Bo is very well behaved, but he also loves to run free and chase critters and small livestock, good at hunting. Bo's favorite toys include a fish and a stuffed squirrel. He is very docile until the UPS guy approaches (often fleeing and dropping the package in his wake,) Bo will let them know how he feels. He loves to play in the water. Bo is a very good protector. He watches out for my 2 year old on a level that amazes even me and he also helps my Mom in her wheel chair. His favorite food is ground turkey. We took Bo to the veterinarian, and they said that he has an abscess in his bottom and wanted to sedate him that day and do surgery. They wanted $750 up front and I just cannot afford that, my family just lost my Father so I have been taking care of financial hardships. We don't qualify for scratchpay or care credit either which is why we need help!! Living is expensive. Especially with my 2 year old:) I provide care for my Mom as she has a terminal illness (sclera-derma etc) and is in a wheel chair and I am struggling severely to come up with the money for Bo's surgery and he needs it to live. It is imperative.
