Amari is my best friend. I got her when I was 16. We have grown up together. We both love going on hikes, walks, and spending time at the park. Amari tore her acl. We have not been able to do anything since. She has developed severe arthritis in her joint due to the tare. She needs TPLO surgery at James river Verona surgery in Richmond Virginia Amari and I bond by exercising together. We used to hike regularly and take runs together. Now we are unable to even take a short walk around the block without her limping. It is very sad to see her lifestyle change so drastically. I am a freshly graduated 21 year old. I do not make enough money to comfortably pay for this surgery, although I know she really needs it. The cost of the surgery is 5,900 and I do not have that money right now.

Chloe was a Christmas gift from my husband. He adopted her from our local animal shelter. From our understanding she was overlooked because she has a deformity in her tail, but he fell in love with her the moment saw her. We adopted Chloe in Dec of 2017 and she is 6 now. She has one sister (cat in pictures) and two brothers (dogs). She loves her sister so much & loves her brothers from afar. Chloe is our skittish girl. She will love on you on her terms, no sudden movements. This experience has been especially hard for her, even though the vets differently. She definitely loves me and my husband equally. She goes to him in the evening for her cuddles and then sleep with me at night. She is more of a cat/dog because she loves to play with her brothers squeakers while they sleep. She loves to steal her brothers toys while they sleep and hide them in her area. She will talk to you at 3 am while stealing them. She makes laugh while carrying them around. In beginning of Nov 2023, we notice a mass on her right hind leg. We took her in to been seen and they did a needle aspiration, that showed "carcinoma like cells", we were immediately referred to a specialist because the concern was it was really aggressive. We did get a second opinion and had a biopsy done, this did confirm a sarcoma, which were told formed from a vac she had (feline-leu) So this year us been the toughest for us financially, from my husband lost his job due the company going bankrupt (Mar 2023) and then finding steady employment (July 2023). We had 3 major home repairs we had to have done (water damage, HVAC and roof).
