Honey
Honey is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Louisville , KY, who needs $7,500 for Oxygen Cage.
Louisville, KY
Honey is my sweet five year-old Maltese/Chihuahua baby. She came into my life just a couple years ago and I couldn’t have been the most happiest pet owner in the world. Currently she’s dealing with a very bad illness. That’s targeted her lungs. With the cost from the animal hospital being expensive, she needs to be put in in an oxygen cage to help her get better. All I’m asking is for a donation of $7500 just to get started. Anything towards it would help and be much appreciated by me and my family.

Gremlin
Gremlin is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in West Point, KY, who needs $2,000 for UTI Unblockage.
West Point, KY
Gremlin is a 3 year old male cat. He is fixed. There was a cat in my friends neighborhood that had kittens and they needed homes so I took him in. He lives in my house and I am financially unable to afford his vet care. I am a single mother of 2 kids and am the only source of income in the household. I only make about 39,000 before taxes so I really can't afford anything especially this emergency. This is an EMERGENCY. Gremlin has been having some urinary issues that I started noticing about 5 days ago. The first day or so I thought he was marking things but then I realized he was having trouble peeing. I gave him a natural UTI medicine and I thought it seemed to help but now he is peeing blood and needs to be seen ASAP. Gremlin is a great cuddler. Although he does have some extremely sharp claws and really enjoys using them. He is a bully to his sister. He likes laser pointers and catnip. I am a single mom with 2 kids. I work full time but only make about 39,000 before taxes a year. I do not have an emergency fund right now as I am the ONLY source of income for myself and 2 kids.

Odin
Odin is a 6 year old American Bulldog in Elizabethtown , KY, who needs $2,000 for Spleenectomy.
Elizabethtown, KY
We picked Odin up from a friend who bred American Bulldogs when he was a 7 pound pup. He is bored a six year old wanna be point at 135 pounds. We live in a house in a quiet neighborhood in Kentucky and Odin enjoys nothing more than chasing his fribba (frisbee) in his fenced back yard, and finding that one perfect sun spot to relax in. Odin was a little out of sorts/lethargic and we thought he had an upset stomach. I checked his gums and they were a little pale but he ate and pottied as usual. We decided to keep an eye on him but later in the day his gums were very pale and we took him to the ER. There we were told he had a tumor & ruptured spleen and needed immediate surgery to live. Odin loves his people, but that group is small. He’s one of four ABs we have & he is just such a clown and makes us smile with his antics. He adores time spent outside chasing his special frisbee, and occasionally his ball. He hates baths but loves to roll around in the dirt. He is always happy when we come back from anywhere, whether it’s 30 second or 30 minutes. He is one of our best friends. Odin required immediate surgery that is in the range of $4900 to $8000. Of course we had to say yes—he’s still young.! We also aren’t millionaires OR ready to give up on such a great boy. We love him immensely and getting him healthy again would be everything!

Jake
Jake is a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees/Blue Heeler in Jeffersonville, IN, who needs $2,000 for Broken Leg.
Jeffersonville, IN
I rescued Jake from a somewhat puppy mill situation where he was tied to a tree at four months old. Jake is now like a child to me. He is my everything I would do absolutely anything for this animal. I ended up getting Jake trained to be a diabetic service dog for myself as I am type one diabetic. Jake has saved my life more times than I can count. And now it’s my time to save his. Jake’s life in our house is pretty much as follows. It is his house I just live in it lol. I called my mother grandmother to him and he knows my mom is grandmother now, so when I tell him grandmother is coming over, he goes crazy looking out the window waiting for her to show up Jake is almost human. He has been trained as a diabetic service dog for myself as I am type one diabetic and have been for 39 years. My sugar tends to drop without me knowing it and he alerts me when my sugar starts to drop. Jake started limping a couple days ago and it has gotten worse so while inspecting his leg, he started to whine a little bit as I touched it so I am thinking he has a broken front leg. I am a 50-year-old male whom is on disability and just had open heart surgery two months ago so I am needing help and getting some veterinary care for my service dog. I seem to care about my dog more than I do myself. It breaks my heart to see him in such pain and me, knowing that I don’t have the financial stability. My dog Jake is a member of the family and I feel so sorry for him.

Lil Kat
Lil Kat is a 4-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Charlestown , IN, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy.

I was at work driving some heavy machinery when I seen a small kitten run underneath a parked semi trailer it was November so it was really cold out side I took off my jacket to grab him and make sure he was warm. Lil Kat is the glue in our house he keeps my dog and the other cats at peace. He very vocal and will always let you know if he needs something. If he senses you need attention he will just lay with you Lil Kat is a talker if he just wants your attention he will meow away. He learned my sleeping so everyday at the around the same time I would wake up with a chunky boy meowing in my ear alway bring my day to a beautiful start Lil Kat has been a healthy boy all his life until recently. His started having issue urinating which caused a blockage. Once I noticed there was a problem he was driven to Jefferson Animal Hospital where he is being treated by doctor Rebecca Shumar The week of Thanksgiving I was given the news that my grandfather had passed away unexpectedly, a few days later I had to spend all I had left in the bank 1400. My boy means the world to me I would do what ever is needed to save him I'm just out of money and options

Lars Lumbrix
Lars Lumbrix is a 3-year-old Tabby Cat in Louisville, KY, who needs $2,000 for Laceration Surgery.
Louisville, KY
We adopted Lars when he was only 6 weeks old after he was born on a Boy Scout camp run by a friend’s parents. Last summer, we started allowing him to explore outside, at our vet’s recommendation, to help provide exercise and mental stimulation. Ever since he was small enough to fit in the palm of our hands, Lars has been the sweetest boy. He loves to cuddle, chirp at birds, follow us from room to room, and make funny sounds; he steals the hearts of all our friends when they come over. He has been slower to warm up to our other cat, Prue, but they will often sleep on the same cozy blanket with only a few inches of space between them. Lars is the hardest worker in the biscuit factory! He loves to get under the covers to snuggle when it’s cold outside. Like a dog, he turns around three times before settling down to sleep. He’s obsessed with people food, especially yogurt and oat milk! Lars was attacked by a pit bull in our neighborhood on Thanksgiving morning. He is now in an emergency animal hospital being treated for a laceration that will require sutures and a drain. Lars has also had a hard time with anxiety this year, and we’re worried that this will really set him back. We’re fortunate to have 2 stable incomes, but the Jefferson Animal Hospital Emergency Center quoted a bill of up to $2500 to get Lars back in tip-top shape. This isn’t something we budgeted for this year, and we’ve had other unexpected expenses that make this a real stretch.
