We have had Lady since she was 6 weeks old, she came to us from my boyfriends father in Chicago. Lady currently lives in Ludington, Michigan with us. Lady is a spunky energetic pup, who loves to run and chase rabbits, turkeys, squirrels and deer. This is where her nose gets her into a lot of mischief and trouble, lol. Lady loves her squeaky balls and bones. She really loves to retrieve her dad's golf balls for him. She loves going on walks around our neighborhood with our youngest son. She has a older sister, Nala, they are a bonded pair. Lady is a funny pup, who will bark and howl at you to play with her. She definitely is led by her nose, which sometimes gets her in to mischief. Lady loves to cuddle and snuggle with her Momma. On 10/9/23 Lady was found on the side of the road and we had assumed she had been struck by a vehicle after escaping our fenced in back yard. She was taken to our local vet, where it was found that she in fact had some serious trauma. Lady has bruised lungs & liver, 3 fractures in her pelvis and a broken femoral head that will require surgery so she able to walk without pain. This was an unexpected event I maxed out all of my credits cards JUST for the 1st vet exam which was $1,600. We as a family are beside ourselves, we love her and want to make sure she has the treatment and surgery that she needs to live a pain free life.
