Ladybug came into my life 12 years ago. At the time I didn't think I had the time or space for another dog. Boy did she prove me wrong! I was so busy with work, and I had just adopted Princess Buttercup 3years prior. A friend asked if I could take her in because pets were not allowed in her new apartment. I didn't want her to be sent to a shelter, so I adopted her. She's been an absolute joy. It seemed out of nowhere she developed a cough. then it got worse. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with a mild case of collapsed trachea. Started treating her with cough meds, those helped some. I took her to a specialist for a stunt consultation. I was told at the time because she was so active and it was a mild ca she wasn't a candidate for surgery. Unfortunately she's gotten worse. Since adopting Ladybug, she has been an absolute joy and the biggest pick me up in my time of need. I've battled many chronic health issues over the years, and she's kept me going. She's super independent, spunky but very loving. She's the smallest and oldest of all my dogs but she keeps everyone in line then makes sure to check on me and cuddle. I don't know what I would do without her. I've battled M.S, Breast Cancer, P.E, Covid and now a permanent foot injury. I am disabled. My savings are gone. Watching Ladybug struggle is heartbreaking, but I don't have the funds for vet care. She's always made sure I was ok. I love her. PLEASE HELP US.
