We got Malla while we were living in Colorado. My ex-husband brought her home to be a companion for our other German Shepherd Chewbacca. It quickly turned into Malla being a constant companion to our son instead. They are still to this day inseparable. We have right now 4 dogs, 1 cat and a bearded dragon. Malla is a mama to them all. In our household we are big Star Wars fans hence their names. We are looking to save her life by amputating her right back leg. We found out that she has a fractured back leg that is due to bone cancer. Malla (or as my son calls her “mama”) is still happy, and loving life. We would love to continue her life however long we have with her by making her more comfortable. That would mean removing her back leg and continuing her supplements. We want more time. Malla’s favorite friend in the whole world is her boy Bradley. My son. They have been together for over 9yrs. He is 15 yrs old now and wants to fight for his mama. We were not expecting this expense. We are a single family household. I manage to get by pretty good financially, but any emergency financial expenses are hard for me to pay. I try my best to do what is needed but with something like this I am falling short and it kills me
