Loki has been such a blessing to my boyfriend and I. We got Loki from a breeder and the second I laid eyes on him I knew he was the one I wanted. I could tell he was rambunctious because he was the only puppy trying to get out of the hamper she had them in…and he had the cutest plump belly. The breeder informed us he was in fact the most playful. One day I noticed Loki was limping and whining a little more than usual;he was favoring one leg only. I was hoping it was just a sprain but after having X-rays done at Kinetic Veterinary we were told he has a partially torn ACL. This was not the information we were expecting to hear and to be told he would be limited in his activities he could partake in broke our hearts. Loki has def become part of the family,he is such a sweet boy who doesn’t know a stranger! As expressed he is extremely playful but also a cuddle bear. Loki gets so excited when he sees us coming through the door and never misses a chance to join us in our endeavors when he can…head hanging out of the car window and living his best life! The vet quoted us $8,000 for his surgery,a fee we were not expecting to hear …our hearts sank hearing the news. It would mean the world to get as much help as we can so Loki can live a pain free life and be able to take his afternoon walks/be able to run w/o pain again.

Kenai came into our life at 7 weeks old. We had lost one of our dogs a few months prior to cancer, and as devastating as it was, Kenai brightened up our world. My husband and I live full time in an RV and were unsure about puppy training, but he's a natural "road dog" he fit right in & loves having a new yard, new smells, and new friends ever few weeks. Kenai gave us reason to smile again. Kenai started limping this past weekend, and after watching it for a few days we realized it was getting worse so we took him to his vet (who we love). We got devastating news that at just 8 months he has severe hip dysplasia and will require Total Hip Replacement to give him a good quality of life. We are going to Kinetic Veterinary Specialists for surgery as our vet only does the FHO surgery. To tell you how Kenai is special would take forever. First, he is the goofiest, fun-loving pup ever! When you see him at 103 pounds it's hard to imagine he's still a baby! He loves squeak toys, especially when I'm on a work call! He wants to sit wherever his older sister (4yr old mix) is.. Much to her dismay! He pulls his "blankie" out of his crate when he needs a nap. He is our world for sure. My husband took a 30 ft fall at work 4 years ago and can not work. We lost our 4 year old male in May. Trying to save my pup means everything to me as I can't see losing him so young. We barely get by financially as it is so we really need some help
