Van Buren
Sweet SOFIE came into our lives at such a precious time. We had recently lost of bottle fed baby Lucy at 12 yrs old congestive heart failure. Her entire litter passed away mama's milk had a problem all but one passed before we realized it. Ravi (Lucy's sister later litter) was as devastated as we were. She was grieving terribly didn't know life without her sister wouldn't eat kept hiding. So Sad. Sofies has always been in good health. She has had 2 beautiful litters of puppies one of which we didn't plan on. She recently has developed a good sized bump on top of her head pretty sure it's an abcessed tooth. We were planning get her spayed so she could just enjoy her happy playful little life. She's a wonderful happy little girl. We have three little boy sheltues we've added to our family. SOFIE is the happiest little girl! Loves to play with the boys in the house. Malee shelties her son's we fell in love with and added to our family. Elvis aka dufus cuz he's so goofy. Sammy
Sammy is a 8 month old Mix-Breed in Fort Smith, AR, who needs $116 for Neuter/Recheck for Reaction to Sutures.
Fort Smith, AR • Paws of Love Animal Rescue AR
Sammy was one of a litter of pups our rescue was asked to take in. He has been living mostly outdoors because we could not find a foster with space inside. Sammy was chosen to go on a transport to a new adopter. We brought him in to be neutered and to be seen for a health certificate so that he can go on to his forever home. We are so excited for this sweet boy! Sammy's neuter went well but he was cryptorchid and needed additional sutures after the removal of his undescended testicle. Much to our dismay, he was allergic to his sutures and has had multiple visits before this was discovered and he is finally restitched and on his way to healing. Sammy is the only boy in the litter but he follows his smaller sisters everywhere. He is sweet and adores them. He lives with other fosters and the dogs that belong to his foster family and is loved by them all. We have many dogs in the rescue and many have medical needs including heartworm positive status, a broken leg, roundworms, ringworm, coccidia and behavioral issues. Our outstanding vet bill is currently in excess of $1100 without new charges added in the past week.
