Ella came into my life in 2013, when a daughter's friend didn't want her anymore, she was a scared because the friend's children were being a little rough on Ella, I said, if the cat was a Calico we were keeping her, Ella was between 5-7 years old at that time, our vet said. So, Ella has been my emotional companion since, she has been relatively healthy, she is now between 15-17 years old. Ella sleeps on my bed mostly near me, she has her own bed on my bed, my daughters both love her. She adjusts to other cats, that were strays when they were in the house. She doesn't like to be held, cuddled. She has her own favorite places, and loves being petted and brushed. Ella snores when she sleeps sometimes, the sounds we enjoy and they make us laugh and smile, she also has a noise when she is mad, she likes to knip, when she brings out her kitten in her, I wish I could of met her then, she always brings a smile on my face, and now lots of tears when I think of her. I am glad that she is in my life. Ella started having trouble eating, she made sounds like she was choking, and then when we took her to the Vet, we learned that she has Stomatitis, we had work done on her to remove teeth and infected gums, she came back to life again, and though she still did grind her teeth (yuck sound) she was taken in after surgery, for check-up on how she is doing, everything was Great,now it's back. Ella needs a diagnosis to see if she cancer in mouth, if cancer or stomatitis then cost up to $2000.00.
