T’Challa

T’Challa is a 9 month old American Shorthair in Santa Ana, CA, who needs $8,000 for Hip and Knee Surgery.

Santa Ana, CA

My pet came into my life as a rescue, and since then we’ve been inseparable. I’ve always volunteered, fostered, and helped animals whenever I can, and this one became especially close to my heart. They live with me and my other pets, and they truly feel like family. Caring for them has brought me so much comfort, especially while managing anxiety during college. My pet is currently facing an unexpected medical emergency that requires urgent treatment. The vet has confirmed that without care, their condition could quickly worsen. The estimated costs are far beyond what I can afford as a college student. I am doing everything possible to get them the care they need. My pet has such a gentle and loving personality and is always by my side. They bring comfort during stressful moments and have helped me through anxiety more than I can explain. They love being around people and other animals, and their presence brings so much joy and calm to my daily life. As a college student, I don’t have savings to cover a sudden emergency like this. I’ve already spent everything I can trying to help. Getting support would mean giving my pet a real chance to recover and continue being the source of comfort and love they’ve always been for m

Henry

Henry is a 7 year old American Shorthair in Arleta, CA, who needs $493 for Hospitalization for Urinary Blockage.

Arleta, CA

Henry came into my life thanks to the cat distribution system. He showed up one day at my house and he was super skinny so I started feeding him. At the moment I was getting ready to say goodbye to my senior dog and he started showing interest in coming inside the house. So there rest is history. It has been 3 years since then. He is a mama's boy and loves sleeping on my bed with me and my dog. Henry, woke us up at 4:30 AM, crying out in pain. Even a soft touch to his back caused him to cry, and we noticed drops of blood in his urine. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where he was diagnosed with a life-threatening urinary blockage. Henry is currently being monitored and cared for. If he can’t urinate on his own by Friday, surgery will be required. Henry is a mama's boy and loves sleeping on my bed with me and my dog, Luna Lou. He is a sweetheart and loves cuddles from his family at all times. He also loves playing with his kitty siblings. I currently only working part time and don't have a stable income. My only family are my parents and my pets, and my mom is a full time housewife and my dad works full time but he pays rent and our only car. We used that money to unblock Henry and now are behind on payments.

Tito

Tito is a 5 year old American Shorthair in los angeles, CA, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy Surgery.

los angeles, CA

I rescued Tito during Quarantine, and we’ve been inseparable for 5 years. Recently, I adopted a brother for him, Tazzy, and they bonded deeply. Since Tito’s been gone, Tazzy has been heartbroken. Tito is my emotional support—always by my side, cuddling close. He’s family to both of us, and we’re doing everything we can to bring him home. My cat Tito has a life-threatening urinary blockage and needs PU surgery. I’ve spent $3,500 already and need help covering the additional $2,000. I’m a single woman with limited income, doing all I can to save him. He’s my emotional support, and his best friend at home is waiting for him. Any help would mean the world to us. Everyone who meets Tito is instantly drawn to his sweet, trusting nature. He loves deeply and finds the good in everyone. He’s a gentle big brother to Tazzy—nurturing, patient, and protective. At home, he’s my little guardian, always checking for intruders when he hears a noise. He’s not just a cat—he’s love, safety, and family wrapped in fur. Currently working to pay off medical debt from my own health issues, and Tito’s emergency has added more than I can handle. Despite everything, I’m doing all I can to save him. Having him healthy again would bring me peace, comfort, and hope during an incredibly hard time.

Genesis

Genesis is a 5-month-old DSH Orange White Tabby Cat in Pearblossom, CA, who needs $1,274 for Diaphragmatic Hernia Surgery.

Pearblossom, CA

Genesis is a gentle kitten, found in a storm drain;within a busy shopping center.Person feeding him, told me he appeared to be 'flat'.I took Genesis to my Vet,& x-ray showed his intestines are stuck (up inside) his rib cage;that's why the lower half of his body appears to be flat.I named him Genesis after 1 of the stores in the shopping center,& also because I want him to have a 'new beginning':) Genesis has been living at LA Pet Clinic, in Los Angeles, CA - since the day he was rescued. He came in weighing 3.1 lbs, and is currently at approximately 4.7 lbs. We are gently trying to 'put weight' onto Genesis, to increase the chances of him surviving surgery. He is very stable, and doing very well at the animal hospital. He is absolutely a Love Machine:) Genesis is the most quiet kitten I've ever had the honor to meet in my life. He is so gentle, and so grateful. He loves 'making muffins' on the soft bedding within the animal hospital. I cannot wait to bring Genesis home...I love him! It appears Genesis is a survivor of Animal Cruelty. He appears to have been 'kicked' or 'hit' with a blunt object. His intestines are stuck (up inside) his rib cage/chest cavity. He needs Diaphragmatic Hernia surgery to repair a 'tear' in his Diaphragm.I am very confident that Dr. Gaetan Reina of LA Pet Clinic will perform this dangerous surgery brilliantly,& that Genesis will recover & recuperate:) I worked for LA County for almost 14 years. As a disabled individual,I was placed in awkward workstations- that contributed to my becoming injured.I am on disability retirement,& it is challenging to make ends meet.I am grateful to share the story of this fragile kitten here.
