Wallie is a 4-year-old Pitbull in Stafford , TX, who needs $1,500 for Diroban.

My son rescued Wallie from a very busy highway on morning in December of 2022. Later, a city worker told him that Wallie looked like the dog that had been abandoned at a nearby dog park. We assume he managed to escape and made it to the highway where my son saw him almost get run over. We do not his story only that he is between 3 to 4 yes old and heartworm positive. He is a pretty chill dog. He is quiet, obedient and a really great dog. He rides very well in a car as well. He gets along well with my other 2 dogs but because of the abuse and God only knows what this poor guy he has suffered, it is probably best if he is the only dog. He needs lots of love and attention. He is a pretty goofy dog. He loves to cuddle and is very playful. He is an attention hog and loves for you to constantly pet him. He loves to lay right next to you and look up at you. He is afraid of thunderstorms. He will run and hide when the storms start. He loves to run and play when you let him outside. He also loves to sunbathe. He was vetted the very next day where he received his vaccines and was tested for heartworms. His test came back positive. We do not know how long he has been positive. I cannot afford to begin the treatments. I have 2 other dogs and 1 is also a rescue. I am a single older woman who lives on a tight budget. It would mean the world to know he will have a chance at a happy and long life. My son and I wish we could rescue them all. Between the 2 of us, we now have 3 rescues. Wallie is the 3rd one.
Mijo

I got meijo when he was just a puppy. A adorable puppy he was and, he was different from the other dogs we had. I know he loves us very much and we love him too, as he is now our only official family companion forever. Our other Chihuahua died from the same disease he might have, and we were completely oblivious that she had it. It saddens me that we do not have enough money to support the funds of his medical treatment. This time we have a chance to save our little buddie, as last time we wasn't able too. Meijo means "little boy" in Spanish, and he indeed is our little boy, bright and sweet, through and through, and our ball of joy. Apart of our family, and will always be apart of our family.
Heidi
Heidi is 3-year-old German shepherd in Sugar Land, TX, who needs $1,300 for a femoral head osteotomy (FHO).

We saw Heidi in the shelter, she had been hit by a car and was non weight bearing on her back left leg. CAMO sent her for x rays which revealed a dislocated hip. She went back to the shelter. We knew that if she wasn’t rescued, soon that the shelter would put her down. She’s a sweet, sweet girl that deserves to live and be treated. Thanks to Waggle.org, we were able to pull her to give her that second chance that she so desperately needed. She’s been on anti-inflammatory and pain meds and her surgery is scheduled for May 25th.
