Mouse is my heart and soul! If you see me somewhere he is usually close behind. I got him at a rodeo in 2016 and it was love at first sight. I named him Mouse because at the time he fit in the palm of my hands. I had no idea he would end up being a 75lb dog! We have been together 4 years now and i cant imagine life without him. Since he has gotten hurt he has had to stay at home alot and he isnt able to run and play with my other dog Gunner. They are as thick as thieves and i think they are both a little lost right now with mouse not being able to play. You hear people say that everyone has that one pet who just makes their life whole. Mouse is that for me. We have been through a lot together on our short time. I just love him!

I had taken my bird to the vet for a check up and here was this big brown striped tabby cat with mesmerizing green eyes. He was like the spitting image of a cat I had for 18 years.. I sat my birds carrier down on counter and picked this cat up and hugged him. The vet said he thought this kitty must really like me because he was purring and I had him snuggled against me with his head on my shoulder. Doc said he hates to be picked up. He still does but I found a way to do it that doesn’t hurt him and he trusts me. I was crying because he was so much like my kitty who recently passed away, The vet and I talked while tending to my bird’s needs. This kitty had been declawed then surrendered to the clinic. He had been trying to go outside and the entire staff was concerned since he had no claws. I said I want him and my vet talked w other vets and I got to keep him. When we got home he walked out of carrier like he had lived in our home forever. He has such a seeet personality a lot different from my kitty he resembles so closely. Every cat is different but every cat knows when they find their special person. Shortly after I got him in June, he came down with calicivirus and I almost lost him, but after 7 days in hospital he made it. Max is my heart he is with me all the time. I recently was diagnosed with dermatomyositis and lupus. Max sits on or by me whenever I sit. He sleeps under covers in my arms. My husband loves him as much as I do.

We wanted to get another shih tzu for our two year old Willow to have someone to play with while we were at work. I got in touch with a breeder who had puppies, and I knew that I wanted a male because Willow has a very dominant personality. We found Hudson, who was born on March 26th. The breeder sent me weekly pictures of him, and then at the end of May, we made the trip to Tennessee to pick him up. It wasn't love at first sight on Willow's part, but in a few days, with Hudson in tow everywhere she went, she gave in and began to bond with him. He is always looking for her to see what she is doing, so he can follow. We ADORE him. If she barks, he barks too, even though he doesn't seem to know why. He's always willing to play, lap sit, or just nap alongside us. In our short time with him, it's difficult to remember how things were before we brought Hudson into our lives. I brought Hudson in to the vet for a naryes clip and to get neutered. I received a call from the vet saying that he needed a bile acid test because his liver enzymes were so high. Normal range is 75 or lower and Hudson's was 298. We were devastated at the thought of our baby being sick. When I hold him at night before we go to bed, I promise him that I will do everything I can to save his life.
