Goose
Goose is a 2 month old Labrador Retriever in Knoxville, TN, who needs $4,000 for Parvo Treatment/Hospitalization.
Knoxville
I found goose on Craigslist! My grunting boy, hints the name. I drove 4 hours to get him, he’s been the best puppy so far. So smart and sweet! He’s got the most beautiful nose and he’s my favorite dude! I’m looking for help, any information, guidance on parvo. After I got him I took him to the vet, he was fine, other than he had a parasite. Which we started the medication for. 2 days later he’s sick and won’t really eat or play. I took him back to the vet to hear that he has parvo. Im trying to get him the help he deserves and needs. He’s a fighter, and I know he can make it. Any recommendations? He was really shy when I got him, but opened up very fast. He follows me everywhere, and always has his eyes on me. He’s the most beautiful blonde color I’ve ever seen. Super rare! He loves his toys and chasing his tail! He’s goofy, and he knows how to use the pee pad! I have been looking for an animal for quite some time. A couple years ago I had to make the decision with my horse to put him down because I didn’t have the finances to cover the cost. I am extremely grateful for any one who can give me tips or donations that could save him

Panic
Panic is a 12 year old American Shorthair in Charlotte, NC, who needs $3,000 for ICU treatment for Catheterization.
Charlotte, NC
Panic arrived at a friends front door as a small kitten with his littermate Pain. I have had them both since they were around 3 months old. Panic walked up to the door a week after we first saw them all beat up from something in the wild and I have been taking care and loving on them both ever since. They have moved from college, to my first job to my first house with me and been through a lot. Panic had a urinary blockage in March of 2020 and has been on perscription food since. He has now blocked again we fear and needs to be admitted to the ICU for treatment to get him back to baseline. Panic is so loving while he can be a little shy he loves his family and his pet siblings especially his littermate and his dog. He is my cuddle buddy and would love inside my skin if I let him. He sleeps with me every night and is the reason I wake up with a numb foot but also is the first to come cuddle me when I’m sad and upset. This past year I rescued 8 kittens from my backyard and was able to raise some of the funds to vet them unfortunately the rest came out of pocket and along with having surgery myself in November I don’t have the cash on hands at this moment to get him admitted.

Sage
Sage is a 5 month old American Pit Bull Terrier in Kings mountain , NC, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Putting Metal In or Amputate his Leg.
Kings mountain, NC
Sage was given to me from a good friend of mine after being old enough to be away from his mom. We have a bond he does everything with me! He is my best friend and most of all comforts me when I need it the most. I’m on a fixed income fighting cancer for the second time. Sage needs emergency surgery which I can’t afford. His femur is broken and they said they can fix it by having a plate and screws put in or amputate his little leg. He jerked a friend of mine of the steps when she took him out and she lost her balance when he jerked her and she accidentally landed on him. Long animal hospital will be the one doing the surgery. Sage is very attached me along with being attached his big brother Gage. Sage loves to play and giving his big brother a run for his money. He loves to sit with me while I do homework and it’s so funny because he try’s biting my mouse cursor lol. Being on a fixed is hard especially if an emergency comes about. Too see my Sage being able to be playful again will make time the happiest ever because seeing him in pain has really put me in a bad mindset!

Bella
Bella is a 10-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Charlotte, NC, who needs $1,700 for stabilization of diabetic ketoacidosis and pancreatitis.
Charlotte, NC
Bella has always been a happy and healthy dog. She’s never had anything more serious than an ear infection, however, just last month, she was diagnosed with diabetes, and this week, she was diagnosed as diabetic keto acidosis. This diagnosis hit us pretty hard and it’s been pretty aggressive and accelerated so fast within a month. Bella loves her family dearly! She’s such a sweet girl and she’s very playful and affectionate. She adores her family and friends to no end. If you knock on her door, she’s guaranteed to greet you with a lot of barking until you acknowledge her and show her some love (much like mini small dogs with big hearts). Bella can be so silly at times. I think the funniest thing that she does is in a hallway with carpet. I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out… after a walk, she will come into a cabinet hallway put her front paws down and her butt up in the air, and then try to race you to the end of the hallway. She runs SO hard and fast you can hear the speed on the carpet. Currently, Bella is being treated at Long Animal Hospital in Charlotte North Carolina for her DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) diagnosis. The doctors are trying to treat her pancreatitis (which has caused extreme amounts of vomiting and her lack of appetite). They are also trying to get her glucose numbers down from 450 to as close to 100-200 as possible. This visit is going to cost $1000-$1700 (depending on their need to keep her from 48 to 72 hours. It was necessary to treat her so that she can be stabilized, otherwise, she would be vomiting 10 to 15 times a day, and as a result not allowing her body to absorb the insulin.

River Maiers
River Maiers is a 12-year-old Labrador in Charlotte, NC, who needs $120 for an Annual Exam Visit.
Charlotte, NC
River came into my life after I lost my job when the "mortgage" bust happened in 2009. I was by myself in my home and needed a companion. I rescued River from a couple who had too many dogs on their farm and lived by a River...hence where I came up with the name. River and I both had no clue that I was also pregnant with my 2nd child.... she was by my side the whole pregnancy! River lives with my 2 daughters, another dog (Patches) and 2 cats. River is now 12 years old and does not play like she used to. We take very short walks now and she limps constantly. She can't jump on my bed nor couch because of her bad hips. River is the "mother" of the house and looks after everyone. She still loves treats and can't chew up my shoes anymore because her teeth are old. Due to the pandemic and the nature of my occupation, I was laid off twice last year; out of a job a total of 6 months. This put a strain on me financially as I exhausted savings and maxed out credit cards to provide for my 2 children and 4 animals. River is our rock!! River has several things wrong.... I am told normal full-blooded Labrador issues and issues associated with old age. She has hip dysplasia, cataracts in both eyes, old teeth and needs routine vet checks/shots/etc. She's been going to Long Animal Hospital since I adopted her over 11 years ago. Alot of the doctor's have assessed her there. River was there for me when I lost my first job, got pregnant with my second child, during my divorce and multiple moves. She is my oldest daughter's fav animal and gave her solace and support during tough times. My oldest daughter had a brain tumor that was removed during her Freshman year in HS...River was by her side the whole recovery. Today, River has been our rock during this Pandemic.

Allie
Allie is a 12-year-old American Longhair in Kannapolis, NC, who needs $1,395 for Raidioactive Iodine Therapy.
Kannapolis, NC
Alli was born on my front porch almost 13 years ago. Up in till two years ago she lived with two of her sisters, however one of them moved to California. Allie is a longhair tortie and her sister Fiona is a black longhair. We live in a two story townhome in Charlotte, NC. Allie has been an indoor cat her whole life. Allie is a sweet girl and has formed a bond with my roommate Celeste. Allie follows her up stairs when it’s bedtime and let’s her brush her. Allie waits patiently for Celeste to wake up each morning and then follows her downstairs. Allie love her treats before bedtime, but she’s very polite and patient. She’s a princess. The reason that we were asking help to get this procedure for Allie Is that she and her sister have both had several less serious medical situations this year. That along with my roommate being out of work because of Covid we are not able to pay for this procedure. Allie was diagnosed with hyper thyroidism. We initially tried the pills, however play caused her to vomit excessively after being on them for about two weeks. Your vet has recommended that she under go radioactive iodine treatment. This procedure will basically care of her. She’s a sweet girl and has the possibility of many more years with us if she was to receive this procedure. Allie is a sweet kittie and she’s very soft spoken. She talks quite a bit but is much quieter than her sisters. Any time we turn on a faucet she comes running and watches the water. If we turn it down to a trickle she swipes at the stream with her paws and will often try to bite it. She loves her toys and carries them around before she kills them.
