We got Oakley when he was just 8 weeks old, he is the most happy, friendliest and loving dog you could ever meet. He loves to be Center of attention and if he’s not he definitely isn’t afraid to inform you as will let you know by his doing his “rottie rumble” lol Oakley likes to sleep as close to us as he possibly can. He follows us everywhere and has to be with us at all times. He’s our little sidekick! He is such a good loving silly happy boy. He makes my life complete and shows me how to love through actions and not just words. I lost my father to suicide recently and my depression has become horrible from then on. Oakley seems to always know when I’m feeling down and not the best. He will pick up his tug a war toy and put it around his nose and act very silly just to try to make me laugh. He also rolls on his back for belly rubs and will often tip his head back and give me the silliest smile I’ve ever seen on a dog. Oakley currently pulled his ACLS in both legs about a year ago. With the cost being so much we were FINALLY able to get a loan to cover the cost of only one of his TPLO surgerys for his left leg that our boy just got yesterday. Our vet informed us that his right leg will need the surgery as well within 9-10 weeks in order to live a happy painless life like he used to Getting this loan has put us major debt and aren’t able to get anymore funds to cover the other leg. I honestly would give anything to be able to get my sweet boy his other leg surgery done so he can enjoy the rest of his life being his original happy energetic self.
