Coco

Coco is a 1-year-old Miniature Poodle in Dearborn Heights , MI, who needs $200 for Examination, Comprehensive Fecal Panel, and Medications.

Dearborn Heights, MI

My pet was a gift to me from my brother. It was the gift of my dreams. He knew that I wanted a smaller breed dog to help me with my depression and provide me with thr emotional support and endless love that come from a strong bond that forms between a dog and their owner. My mom helped us with naming him Coco. Reason being he has beautiful curly cocoa brown fur, and I am addicted to hot cocoa. Coco is the friendliest dog I've ever seen. He greets everyone he comes into contact with and LOVES to play with other dogs. His favorite treat is American cheese and when he wants some he let's us know my sitting patiently in the exact same spot every time, near the living room couch. Every night Coco sleeps with me in my twin size bed cuddled up in my arms where I give him endless belly rubs. My favorite thing about Coco is how excited he gets when either my parents or I come home. He greets us with such excitement and joy. He usually slides on the hardwood floor from running to the door so fast. Coco also returns kisses and hugs everytime I love on him. He never denies me affection and love. He has the sweetest most gentle demeanor that makes him so loveable. Coco has had chronic diarrhea for almost 5 days now due to a parasitic infection. He will require tests and medication. I am going to take him to Luv N Care hospital for treatment. I recently lost my job of 8 years and have no income at the moment. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Coco is like a child to me and I want to provide him relief and comfort from his situation before it gets worse.

Wolfey

Wolfey is a 13-year-old West Highland Terrier in Detroit , MI, who needs $1,500 for Anal Gland Tumor Removal.

Detroit, MI

We have had Wolfey since we were 7 years old. Through these 13 years he has become a family member we aren’t ready to let go of. He is the light of our family. Filling our good and bad days with joy. He is a very lovable dog, who thrives on human interaction and being around others. Since they day we brought Wolfey home he hasn’t stop smiling and wagging his tail. Wolfey loves to constantly be around our family. He especially loves to comfort our daughters and played a vital role in emotional supporting her through her chronic illness. He enjoys walks, they are the highlight of his day. After work or school he waits for a family member to arrive and greets them with cuddles and belly rubs. He also enjoys naps, snacks, and cuddles. He loves sun bathing when the weather permits. He’s a goofy easy going dog who’s impossible to not love. During his free time he enjoys stream animal planet and doggie videos on YouTube. He used to enjoy playing with his older sister cotton “ our coton de Tular” that recently passed. He is grieving her, as is the rest of our family. Wolfey was a relatively healthy dog, despite a heart murmur which adds to the severity of the surgery. He was diagnosed with an anal tumor, which requires an complicated surgery. He has to be monitored, was given a cone, and has to have his dressings changed and cleaned daily. If he is unable to get the surgery we will unfortunately have to put him down. Resulting in us losing two dogs in one week. We have a twin daughters. One daughter was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome and has medical bills. The other we are financially supporting to put through college. I work two jobs trying to support my family. This surgery would save Wolfey’s life.
