Hazel
Hazel is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Longwood, FL, who needs $3,000 for Removal of Tumor Sarcoma.
Longwood, FL
Hazel came into my life during my teenage years, a time when I was struggling with PTSD and depression. She was a rescue who quickly became so much more than a pet—she became my emotional support and my best friend. Through some of my hardest moments, she has been a constant source of comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love. She has truly been my companion in healing and strength. I am reaching out for financial assistance for my beloved 11-year-old dog, who has recently been diagnosed with a sarcoma tumor located near her right leg and chest/rib area. This diagnosis has been overwhelming, and while surgery has been recommended as the best option to treat her condition, I am currently facing financial hardship and cannot afford the cost on my own. Recently, I have noticed Hazel is special because she came into my life when I needed her most. During my teenage years, while I was struggling with PTSD and depression, she became my source of comfort, stability, and unconditional love. She isn’t just a pet—she has been my emotional support, my safe place, and my constant through some of the hardest moments of my life. The bond we share is something truly irreplaceable. I am on fixed income from disability and cannot afford to save her life please help me safe Hazel and give her a second chance at life just like she gave to me

Indy
Indy is a 2-year-old English Bombay Cat in Lake Mary, FL, who needs $1,555 for Diagnostics, Tests, Medicines.
Lake Mary, FL
Indy (short for Independence Day, the day we found her) is a rescue. My husband was riding his bike on the Fourth of July when he came to a busy traffic intersection. It was an extremely hot day in FL. As he approached the intersection, he saw what appeared to be something black and (could it be furry?) sticking out from underneath a pile of leaves and dirt. This is how Indy's story begins.. Indy would have been great in the professional sports arena. She would lead the NFL in interceptions. As a referee, she has sorted out her two sisters on many occasions. She would have been reigning champion in the competitive eating circuits. For obvious reasons, she's a "Daddy's Girl," but her mom and her share a very special bond as well. Despite her athletic prowess, her secret is that she is a Scaredy-Cat. For the first year of being with us, she hid under our bed. As a kitten, she would pull out a single, dirty sock from our laundry hamper and drop it on the floor in the middle of the room, while making the most soul-wrenching howl, whenever experiencing separation anxiety. She loves putting her whole head under the tub faucet. Tuesday of last week, Indy stopped drinking water and stopped eating. It came completely out of the blue. It's Sunday and her condition has only worsened. She is fading quickly and doesn't have much time left. We simply couldn't afford the diagnostic/treatment costs. The animal hospital I took her to is Luv-n-Care in Longwood, FL. She has been such a fighter and I am throwing a Hail Mary for her. My husband lost his job earlier this year, leaving us to have to dip into and use up what emergency savings we did have. The cost of housing in our area, combined with inflation, has left us living paycheck to paycheck. I'm grateful to have a job. It's been a struggle.
