We rescued Huck from Fluff Animal Rescue last April. He stole our hearts when they posted a picture of him coming out of the bathtub and when we went to see him in his foster home it was love at first sight! He's the only pet in our home and he gets spoiled by his sisters and his mom and dad. He has been a dream pup since we first got him; easy going, playful and smart. Huck was limping on and off for a few days and we thought it was a pulled muscle. He would go in the backyard and run but then limp at other times. We took him to Main Street Animal Hospital and Dr. Masters diagnosed a luxating patella in his back right leg. Dr. Masters said it's a condition he was born with and that our poor boy has been in pain since he was born. Even though we recently found out that our boy has been hurting daily since birth, you would never know it. Huck doesn't know a stranger... he always greets people with a tail wag and a handshake. He knows lots of tricks and he is sweet with kids and other dogs. His silly personality provides lots of entertainment in our house. He's a huge goofball and he keeps us laughing. Huck's mom and dad both work for the public school system and we have two daughters in college. Like everyone, we have to watch our budget closely. We don't have a lot of extra money, but we know that Huck deserves to have this surgery.
