Chloe came into our life when we finally purchased a home and were able to get a cat. We knew we wanted to rescue, we found a local cat rescue and fell in love. She came from a hoarding situation where the elderly lady had over 20 cats in her home. Because of this, she was extremely shy, however she blossomed almost immediately! She is an absolute fighter and has proven that she will defy all odds Chloe is loved by all. She is an important part of our family. She is loved by all of our children and reciprocates the love each day. She welcomes all the love from anyone who will give it to her, always purring while doing so. She loves treats, watching birds and sleeping on any of her people. She is a gem! Chloe is special because she is ALWAYS purring. Even when we brought her to the vet, incredibly sick, she was purring. She wakes us up in the middle of the night, purring and requesting belly rubs before she settles down on my pillow. She also is a sassy girl, she puts our other rescue cats in their place quite often. Chloe began acting off after one of our other rescue cats snuck outside and did not return. We chalked her behavior up to mourning his disappearance. However, we quickly noticed this was not the case. I took her to the vet who determined she was an extremely sick girl. It was determined that she had a blockage. She had the surgery and later developed pneumonia while still in care. Before Chloe had her surgery, my husband broke his ankle and had to have massive surgery. He is out of work for at least 12 more weeks. Not only is his accident causing us issues, but the cost of Chloe's vet expenses is massive. We just want our girl home and healthy again.
