Blue was a gift from my in-laws. They surprised us with her the week of Thanksgiving, she was 8 weeks old and tiny but so fluffy! We decided on the name Blue almost instantly and for good reason — those eyes! Her nicknames are Blue girl, baby Blue and Blueberry. She has 2 brothers: Romeo (a Maine coone), Lion (a Shih Tsu) and 2 sisters: Savannah (another Maine coone) and Boo (a black cat). Blue is the sweetest, smartest puppy I’ve encountered. I started training her at 8 weeks and she picked up on commands unbelievably fast! She loves to play tug of war with her rope, adores running around playing with her brother Lion, and she definitely enjoys when I kick the ball across the yard for her. She’s a cuddle bug as well, she loves to sleep in our bed even though she has her own;) Blue loves her brother, Romeo — he’s a cat but I think she’s thinks he’s a dog, and her other brother, Lion. She is obsessed with chasing the laser pointer around; if I aim it on her bed, she will jump into the air and fox hop with her two front paws. It’s the cutest thing. She’s not afraid of storms, in fact she loves being out in the rain. She loves chasing the water coming out of the hose. Blue got sick in the early morning hours of 2/13. I monitored her overnight, feeding her pedialite & bone broth through a syringe. She made it through the night no issue. On 2/15 she started throwing up again. Vet X-rays show an obstruction that must be treated surgically and quickly. I am on a fixed income with absolutely no savings. My puppy is my best friend and my whole world. I simply cannot lose her. I’ve applied for assistance through foundations and with no response and I’ve been denied care credit.

My pet came into my life after I had 2 miscarriages, right before I received her I had just lost twins. My boyfriend gave her to me as a graduation gift because I felt incomplete at that time. She has really given me the motherly feeling I’ve always prayed for! I’m so blessed to have her! I currently don’t have children however she fills a hole in my heart! She loved to cuddle and loves to be chased! She will grab your shoe or your favorite shirt because she desires for you to chase her around the house! She’s everyone favorite person so when she walks in the room my family sang her very own song. She loves to force my family and friends to rub her head and kiss her lol! She loves attention! Currently I am a flight attendant for Delta Airlines and due to Covid - I took a leave because my mother was recently diagnosed with cancer and I didn’t want her to be affected by Covid. During the time on my leave my dog got very sick. I do not have emergency funds. My pet attends Morningside Animal Care Center her vet name is Dr.Morris. She was prescribed a medication for a sprained ankle however she had a allergic reaction to that medication which caused her to have severe seizures and caused her heart to race. She was put on IVs for two days to clean her system and to make sure she didn’t have organ failure My dog is the most loving animal in the world. She makes everyone she come across feel so special and so loved. By the way my baby favorite song in the world is the “Birthday” song! She’s literally a singing dog!! She is invited to everyone’s birthday party so she can specifically saying the birthday song.
