Pumpkin
Pumpkin is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Orwigsburg , PA, who needs $500 for Emergency Vet Care.
Orwigsburg, PA
On Saturday 9/28 this little wandered into our family business. She was extremely friendly from the moment she seen my boyfriend. She remained in the office with him the entire day and followed him everywhere. I brought food and a litter box to her that evening and I could immediately tell she was severely malnourished. I’m not sure if someone if dumped her on her property. I’m asking for help for this little one for whatever veterinary care she is going to need even if it euthanasia is the best call for her. She is extremely skinny and lethargic at times so I believe she may have some type of disease. I do not want her to suffer at all. All local rescues are full and can not help so Waggle is my only hope. She is living at the shop. Please help me help her! She is very receptive of humans and is extremely attached to my boyfriend while he is there at work with her. No interest as of now with toys. Doesn’t mind our two young sons when they do come to the shop. We are a one income household with two sons and 6 cats and 2 senior dogs of our own. We can not afford another vet bill. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Abbey
Abbey is a 12-year-old Manchester Terrier in Schuylkill Haven, PA, who needs $2,000 for Tumor Removal.
Schuylkill Haven, PA
My late boyfriend bought Abeey when she was 8 weeks old. She is now 12 years old. She is the only dog in the house. She is my best friend and we are each others emotional support systems. Five years ago my boyfriend passed away in front of Abbey and me. It was very traumatic for both of us. The two of us have been through a lot together. Being homeless we now have a forever home. Abbey gets along well with the few family members that we associate with. She especially loves my mother. She is great with other dogs. She has a bed on the floor and another on my bed. During the day she will sleep in one of those two places or on the couch. She has plenty of blankets on the places she sleeps so she can bury herself under them. At bedtime she usually sleeps right next to me. Abbey loved my friend Robert the first time she met him. Which is odd because it takes her a long time to take to men. Abbey knows she can depend on me when she's scared or sick. When I'm sick or sad she stays by my side. She's very smart and loveable. Loyal and protective. She likes most of the people and dogs in my building. Abbey has two small mammary tumours that need to be surgically removed. She was spayed late in her life. She was nine years old when she was spayed. Because of her age when she was spayed it caused her to have the tumours. She's had kidney issues as well and slightly anemic. With medication and prescription dog food these issues are under control. I am on disability and the cost of her surgery is more than I can afford. I've had Abbey for 12 years. We both have been through a lot together. She is my joy, my happiness, my most loyal friend. I need to keep her healthy so we can be together for a long time.
