Pringle

Pringle initially came into our lives as a foster. We had lost a cat unexpectedly earlier in the year, and our hearts were ready to bring another cat into the home, but not quite ready to make the commitment of adoption. When we went to meet the cats at the shelter to choose one to foster, Pringle climbed into my lap immediately and snuggled right up. We adopted him only a couple of months later. Pringle is FIV+, which has caused stomatitis. Stomatitis is an extremely painful, debilitating inflammation of the mouth and gums. He has received treatment at Murray Animal Hospital. In November 2025, he had surgery to remove some teeth. His condition has been well managed by medications until recently, when he started showing signs of pain again. He needs surgery to remove the rest of his teeth. Pringle is the sweetest cat in the world. Every single person who has met him has been instantly in love. He loves to snuggle and prefers to be as close to me as he can be. He makes the best biscuits and loves to lie in the sun. He has a little big sister named Hera, who he loves, even though she doesn't always love him back. He's a big fan of churu and always comes running when he hears his food. We're a young couple — one in graduate school, one working full time — doing our best for a cat who deserves to be out of pain. This surgery came as a major unexpected expense with no emergency fund behind us. We've secured a grant and are contributing everything we can.
Zeus

Zeus has been apart of my life since he was 5 weeks old. From a puppy he has had many vet visits from Parasites-intestinal issues, allergies, and arthritis. He was born in Honolulu, Hi. From there Zeus has traveled with me to live in Nevada and now living in Utah. He loves his siblings, his giant back yard, and both his parents. On top of the very extensive medical needs he’s had his entire life, Zeus is now 9 years old and needs to have surgery on his Left Knee of Osteoarthritis and a CCL Tear. Murray Animal Hospital has been caring for Zeus since living in Utah and I trust their entire staff! Zeus is everyone’s best friend. He is the “pit bull” who gives the entire breed a different perception. He is kind, loyal, LOVES to feel like a lap dog. He loves his nightly snuggles, cute outfits, and his favorite people outside of his parents are his Grandma, Papa, Aunty Ashley, Aunt Jessi, and Uncle Scott. Zeus has been limping on 3 limbs for a while and doesn’t enjoy the yard as he used to. He also doesn’t get as much cuddle time due to the steps to our bedroom. I would love to be able to sleep with him until the end of time.
Bear

Several months ago I dreamed my daughter brought me a little dog, handing it to me, telling me no one else wanted it, and if anyone could turn its life around I would be the one who could do it. Soon after there was a posting on social media asking if someone would adopt their dog. The owner had poor health, lived upstairs and couldn't take it outside so I brought the dog home. Bear won the hearts of everyone he met. He had a big brother who would sweep Bear's face with his tail and shared his bed since Bear doesn't like the cool beds he's offered. Bear's favorite place to sleep is in bed with his new person who he loved very much. He loved sleeping next to his little person when she came to visit and looking out the window on car rides. Bear loves car rides, going on walks, which until he came to our home were seldom if ever. He had senior dog senility where he would not move and stare at you indefinitely or he would stand, basking in the sun gazing no where in particular. He had a way of looking at you that instantly melted your heart. We fell in love with him immediately. Bear was in deplorable condition when we brought him home and was in extremely poor health. His teeth were so bad he had puss oozing over the top of them and his breath was awful. He hadn't been groomed in several years, his claws were easily 1" or longer and twisted in every direction. On 11/20/2023 we began his treatments at Murray Animal Hospital where Dr Sawula took special care of him. He was extremely ill. His white blood count was 78, normal is 25. I wasn't the original owner, yet I would do anything to help get him well; not an expense I was planning on, but willing to do what it took to get him back on his feet. Any help would be appreciated.
