Fluffy
Fluffy is a 7-month-old Domestic Medium Hair Cat in Ephrata , PA, who needs $2,000 for Kidney Failure.
Ephrata, PA
We rescued our kitten at 7 weeks old. She had been at an over crowded rescue. She was found with her litter mates on the side of a highway a week prior. My 5yr old son fell in love and begged to rescue her. She has been one of the most amazing family members! Her name is Fluffy! She is the most loving cat. She plays with the dogs and they are all best friends. Our so. Is very attached to her!! She loves everyone and her other furry friends. We live in a home we mortgage with 5 dogs and two other cats. She has fit right in. She plays with the dogs like she is one. She plays with the cats also. She sits in our laps. She loves attacking dog tails. She likes to stick her paws in the water dish when she drinks. She also likes to watch us eat with the dogs. Our son has become very attached! Fluffy licks us to show she loves us. She sleeps by our heads. She likes to steal our pens off of our desk and run away. She is the best friend to one of our dogs that was abused by her previous owner. Zoie is her name. Zoie cuddles with Fluffy. She even gives up her dog bed for Fluffy. They jump on each other and play fight like dogs. She may have been a dog in her past life. She began throwing up multiple times a day, 2 weeks ago. No eating, drinking, going to the bathroom. She was vet checked. X-rays looked fine. Fluids given and anti-nausea. Sent home. We spent almost $600. She became lethargic yesterday. She has now been hospitalized with an unknown illness. Estimate: $2232.06. We have exhausted all means of financing the vet provided. Care credit, All Pet Card, Scratchpay, Wellsfargo Health Advantage: Declined. We do not qualify for a loan or withdraw from 401k due to this not being a human related expense. We previously borrowed from others.

Honey
Honey is a 14-year-old Lab Mix in Pequea, PA, who needs $2,000 for Teeth Extraction.
Pequea, PA
Honey is my childhood dogs great great grand dog. She currently lives with my sister because I am unable to care for her properly due to my declining health and my traumatic brain injury as well as my limited income. Honey is 15 years old her mom died 2 weeks before my mom died. My sister owned her uncle so we have had her linage for over 30 years. She is the last of her bloodline and my best bud Recently Honey lives with my sister and her family. Along with a fur friend my sisters dog, an English Mastiff. Previously she lived with my mother and I before my mom died. She is a spunky little dog that loves ear scratches and back rubs. When I come see her she always puts a smile on my face with her quirky ways. Honey loves to jump on her front feet and spin around when she’s happy and loves when I come to visit her. She misses being able to stay with me but my TBI makes it hard to care for her the way she deserves so my sister helps me. Being 15 years old she has some teeth that are bad. One of them the vet said she can see the root exposed. So I know my little girl is in pain. Her sweet white face is swollen and it makes it hard for her to eat her regular food. Neffsville Animal Clinic Dr. Mulvaney said she definitely needs to have numerous teeth removed to improve her quality of life. I am disabled and have a limited income, I live in a very old home (over 200 yrs old) and with my bills and maintaining my home it doesn’t leave much else. I provide the food for her care but most of her medical expenses are too expensive for me to afford.

Baxter
Baxter is a 2-year-old Maltese in Newmanstwon, PA, who needs $1,800 for Inpatient care, I.V. fluids, Series of Xrays and Bloodwork.
Newmanstwon, PA
Baxter was given to us on 02/24/2020. The folks had adopted him from another family and found themselves not able to care for him. So they rehomed him and we were chosen! Oh what a wonderful day that was! Our Baxter. He will be with us 2 years in February. I will never forget that day. It was wonderful! We love him so much and want him better! Baxter is a very friendly little guy, but don't bother him when he's comfy and resting. He might get a little testy. Given all he went through in his first 4 months of life, he's doing very well. He has some health issues we are trying to get to the bottom of. He is currently hospitalized and on an IV. Baxter is very funny when he sees a horse and buggy going down the road in front of our house. He goes absolutely nuts! I wish I knew what he was thinking. From the way he acts, he's ready to go bite the horses leg off lol! not really...... he is a loving, fun, and all around beautiful soul. He is very special to us because he has made such a positive difference in our lives. Baxter has been having ongoing issues with getting sick. Most recently it started with his urination. He couldn't go enough. He was going excessively. And it brought out a strong urine odor, stronger than normal. Then he stopped eating and started shaking all over. Not from being cold (I don't think), but from being sick. Illness. My husband's salary pays a good portion of our household bills. In June of this year, he had to have an aortic valve replacement, open heart surgery. He lost 4 months of pay because he does not receive sick time at his place of employment.
