Cali

Cali is a 6 year old Bichon Frisé in Racine, WI, who needs $2,000 for Abdominal X-rays & Ultrasound, Antibiotics.

Racine, WI

Cali was a gift for me in February 2018, she was only 2 months old when I got her. She is now 6 years and 9 months. I' originally from California, so I decided to name her Cali. I have 2 other dogs at home. Tank he is 7 years old, also a Bichon Frise. Sergeant a 2 year old American Bully who is a big teddy bear and loves both Cali & Tank. I am looking for help to figure out what Cali has. At first Vet thought it might be Pyometra or Cushioning's Disease. She ruled out Pyometra, and said I needed x-rays to see if potential tumor. No tumor found in x-rays, but recommended taking Cali for Ultrasound so that they can see Liver better and other organs. Cali is special to me because she is Family. She came into my life when I was not mentally healthy. I still struggle but when I look into her little face she puts a smile in my face, makes me forget about all the negative in my life. She truly is like my child. Unexpected sudden major expense with no emergency fund. I live check by check, and sometimes get help from family. They have helped pay for the vet bills so far, but I have 2 children and recently divorced. I am on my own and really need the help to get Cali better.

Chloe

Chloe is a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in Racine, WI, who needs $2,000 for Skin Cancer Removal and Torn ACL.

Racine, WI

Hi there, Chloe is my adopted dog from kenosha society. She was almost 5 months when I had her. The 1st time I saw chloe I fall inlove with her and I knew she the daughter I always wanted. And I cant live with out her. Chloe also was one of my support when I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Chloe needs a skin cancer removal asap and she also have a tore acl that needed a surgery. It broke my heart to know that she has a skin cancer. I myself is a cancer survivor. Yesterday chloe diagnosed with tore acl and also the vet found a skin cancer. My world turn upside down when I hear the word cancer. I just became a breast cancer for 6 months now. Her vet wants chloe to get surgery soon for skin cancer and also her acl. Chloe is so sweet, very clingy, affectionate. She loves to go outside and play in park. Me and her dad have a job. But last year during my chemo I have no work for 6 months. I just started working this year January. I cant live with chloe in my life. I humbly ask for any help you can give to help me pay for her two upcoming surgery. Thank you in advance.

Yelena

Yelena is a 3-month-old Domestic Shorthair Kitten in Greenfield, WI, who needs $1,900 for Abdominal Exploration-Uncomplicated Foreign Body.

Greenfield, WI

Yelena was a kitten I found in my back yard. In August I lost my dog, Buddy, after 17.5 years. As an only child, he was my best friend and one constant. When I found Yelena, I wasn’t expecting to keep her. She didn’t have a microchip and I couldn’t find another home for her. I tried to arrange the accommodations to keep her. It seemed fitting after losing Buddy so recently. Yelena is a new family member, but she is very kind to both of my parents and to me. She is very timid, but she has come a long way in just the couple weeks I have had her. She is quirky and has her moments of random energy, but she also loves to cuddle. Yelena is also very strong and has surprised all the vets she has encountered with how long she has made it with her current condition. Yelena loves a very specific blanket and instantly purrs and kneads when she is on it. This blanket was gifted to me by my best friend after my dog passed away. She makes me smile every time she goes on it. Yelena has also enjoyed sitting next to me while I paint and is very attentive to what I am doing. She recently started following me everywhere, so I know she loves me too. Yelena needs an urgent surgery. The specialist did an ultrasound and found that Yelena’s GI tract has gone up into her esophagus. They know the surgery that is needed, but I am unable to afford it. The surgery estimate is $6000. Any funds are appreciated. I am a newly college graduate and have not have a stable income due to covid. I do not have a credit score, so I am unable to apply for Care Credit. I live with my parents while I am saving to move, but this surgery is a huge blow in my budget.
