Lando
Lando is a 1-year-old German Shepherd in Wichita, KS, who needs $2,000 for surgical correction of hypospadias.

Lando was surrendered to Kansas K-9 ResQ for a birth defect. Upon physical examination it was noticed that his penis did not form properly at birth and is in fact not functional. He is able to urinate, but it is out of an opening directly below his anus. Without the help of the rescue and the funds to be able to take him to a specialist, this amazing 12 week old German Shepherd puppy would have to be euthanized.
Lefty
Lefty is a 3-year-old Sheltie/Aussie mix in Wichita, KS, who needs $1,244 for heartworm treatment.

Lefty along with his sister Tess were surrendered to Kansas K-9 ResQ after the tragic death of one of the owners. Both were taken to the vet for their exams and vaccines. That is when we got the bad news that Lefty tested positive for heartworms. He was an indoor dog before the tragedy, but then was forced to live outdoors for about 6 months all while going unprotected against heartworms.

I have had Bo-Jack since he was a puppy. I like to rescue dogs in need. Bo-Jack is a giant teddy bear who thinks he is a lap dog at 95 lbs. He is very sensitive and sweet and loves to snuggle. He is somewhat fearful of people he doesn't know. He was rescued from bad breeding conditions. The breeders used kitchen scissors to give a botched dewclaw and tail docking procedure so he is fearful of people at times. I love Bo-Jack because he is such a gentle giant.
