Freckles was a Christmas gift for my daughter in 2010. We had just lost our previous Dachshund Buddy from a dog attack and were so so happy when Freckles arrived in our lives. She has been with us since my daughter was 11 years old and now my daughter is 25! It has been a blessing to have Freckles in our lives this long and we want to continue loving her for as long as possible. Freckles was diagnosed with Pancreatitis in Oct 2024 & at the time I was able to pay for the treatment. She was doing so well & now she has been diagnosed again with Pancreatitis & also has to get an ultrasound to look at lesions on her spleen & kidneys. The wonderful vets & technicians at Northwood Animal Hospital in Tallahassee, FL did an awesome job taking care of my furbaby. Freckles adores her family of human sister,grandma,aunts,&cousins. She absolutely loves her fur-cousin Remy, a toy poodle owned by my sister. Freckles has a mean side eye when she thinks you're being crazy!! I understand Freckles is a senior dog but it will mean the world to me and my daughter to have more years with her. She is so loved by all the family and her fur cousin Remy.
