Lucy

Lucy is a 1.5 year old Great Dane in Lawton, OK, who needs $2,000 for Parvo, Vitamin, Fluids, Antibiotics.

Lawton, OK

At 6 weeks we brought her home and she needed surgery for what we thought was a tumor, turns out it was her spleen. She had her spleen removed and up until now she was doing great. She contracted Parvo and because she doesn’t have her spleen she is having trouble fighting. She’s been in the vet since Monday and still fighting no better or worse. She is currently in Oak Ridge Animal Hospital. She’s been there since Monday and hasn’t improved or gotten worse. At this point she could get better or worse in the blink of an eye. We had to check her liver and thankfully it’s fine but her white blood count is tanked. She’s an amazing protector, loves hugs and cuddles, when she was given a second chance of life she went full force and has made the absolute best of it. She’s certainly a fighter. I am disabled and my partner is currently home from work because of uvitis (it’s all been the worst timing). We have put $300 down but expecting the total will come to around $1500. We have applied for everything we can and nothing has gone through.

Scrappy

Scrappy is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Lawton , OK, who needs $1,150 for Surgery to Insert Screws or a Plate.

Lawton, OK

I took scrappy in when a lady found him on a country road. She wasn't able to keep him. I had just lost my pup due to picking up a dead bird. I feel he needed someone to love him too. When she brought scrappy over he was just skin and bone. I got some weight on him then he wouldn't walk on one of his back legs. I took him to the vet she did a x-ray found out he had some old injuries. He had a break around his upper leg, his tail bone had a fracture and his tail had been broke. I was in tears wondering how someone could do this. I feel bad for him he has so much life in him. One of the pictures is him and his best girl Nova. They sleep together play go for rides in the car. Scrappy is a hoot to be around he's a character for sure. He plays well with my other dogs but Nova is his favorite. When my grandkids come in he just lights up he'll go look for one his toys for them to play. I'm on social security which doesn't leave me much. I hate asking for help but scrappy has too much to give. The things that happened to him how he was treated what they did to that poor baby. I would love to give him that chance to be happy. With your help we can.

Brave

Brave is a two-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat in Lawton, OK, who needs $1,000 for emergency eye surgery.

Lawton, OK

Brave is in quite a predicament. She's currently being held at the animal hospital until her family can make a payment on her bill. It all started when Brave developed a horrendous infection in one of her eyes. Devin S. brought her to the veterinarian's office and found out she needed surgery immediately to remove the eye. The problem was, he could not afford the cost, so the animal hospital agreed to do the operation so Brave would not be in pain, but they won't release the cat to her family until they can pay at least half her medical bill. So currently, Brave is in the hospital, likely wishing her pet parents can come up with the money soon so she can go home. "We miss her," Devin tells Waggle. "We're in financial crisis." Devin says his fiancee is deaf and lost her job during the pandemic because she depends on reading lips, and she could not do that while everyone was wearing masks. They also have kids to feed, but their goal is to pay Brave's tab at the vet as soon as possible. "We got Brave during a transitional time in our lives. She needed a home, and we needed her "brave attitude" in our lives," Devin says. "It was empowering for my family. Her bravery upon entering our home is how she got her name. She came to us as a lil bitty Kitty and is now the sweetest ever." The family turned to Waggle pleading for help, hoping charitable pet lovers might chip in so the family can spring Brave. Devin says their household just isn't the same without her. He wants to tell anyone who gives to their campaign a big "thank you!" "All my kids talk about is Brave and when we'll get her back. One of them was crying the other night asking about Brave," Devin says. "It would make us so happy." Can you help Devin's family bring Brave home?
