Dexter

Dexter is a 8 year old Shih Tzu in Ogden, UT, who needs $0 for Exam, Cleaning, and Pulling Teeth Under Anesthesia.

Ogden, UT

Dexter was a rescue/gift he came to me 4 years ago because he needed a home after he and his owner were hit by a car in the crosswalk, Dexter was not injured but his owner was and couldn't take care any longer. We live in low income housing in a one bedroom apartment. Dexter seem to be in good health at the moment although I've noticed bad breath and a few teeth missing and would like to get him examined and treated for dental problems before they become too severe and cause pain. So far he's eating good and not complaining of pain. Dexter is a character. He is very vocal if he wants something he'll let you know, he loves attention and meeting new people, he loves car rides and loves his toys he loves life. Hi not so favorite things are pretty much anything loud like thunder, alarms and fireworks. We live on a fixed-income and had issues with bedbugs from our last place so we had to get rid of our furniture and now we have to make payments for new furniture. We also just moved

Puppy

Puppy is a 11 year old American Shorthair in Ogden, UT, who needs $250 for Senior Diagnostic Testing and the Office Visit.

Ogden, UT

My daughter found "Puppy" in a dumpster. He was about 5 weeks old and his eyes were sealed shut from infection and he had Pneumonia. I got him and took him to my Vet. My Vet said he didn't think Puppy would survive. I said if I had anything to do with it he would! I soaked his eyes so I could open them to put meds in. I gave him antibiotics every day. He survived, yay! I'm seeking help for diagnostic senior testing for Puppy. This is the recommendation I've received from my Vet at Ogden Animal Hospital in Ogden Utah. I don't know what further treatment Puppy will need. I feel in my heart that something life threatening is going to be the diagnosis. He is spoiled and I take pride in saying, I am the reason why! Please consider helping Puppy get healthy again? Puppy's favorite toy is a stuffed Giraffe. He has had it almost all of his life. He loves it, holds it and kicks his back legs on it fast and hard! After all that he holds and sleeps on it. He won't share it and doesn't like anyone to touch it. He lets me know when it is 6 am and time to get up to feed him his breakfast. Everybody that meets Puppy loves him. He is very friendly. I'm a single disabled senior on a fixed income. I go without many things but I provide a stable loving home for Puppy. I was the victim of a scam, my money was stolen the day after I got paid. It hurts to watch him suffer, my heart is broken for my sweet Puppy!

Mochi

Mochi is a 7-year-old Calico in Ogden, UT, who needs $500 for anal gland expression and treatment of infection with antibiotics.

Ogden, UT

Mochi came from a shelter in Maryland. Someone had dumped her and her kittens in the snow. The kittens were adopted quickly, but we were lucky enough to be able to bring Mochi home. She has moved across the country with us. Mochi is the most important member of our little family. My husband recently lost his job and I am disabled. Mochi has problems with her glands and she desperately needs a vet. Mochi sleeps on my side at night. She loves treats. I call it her "candy". We have a 3 am snack session together, every night. She is grouchy with the dog, but will lick his paw to let him know that she secretly loves him. She LOVES to sit outside on the balcony with me. She hates being picked up, but will always allow me to. She's my baby. Mochi is a sweet girl, and loves to play with her toy mice. She will run on her back legs while batting the mouse with her front, like a furry little human! She talks to me when it's 5 p.m., which is "Mochi's treat time". She will talk to me if I don't pay enough attention to her! She loves this time of year, because she loves to lay under the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree. Mochi has leaking anal glands. It is imperative that I get her to the vet as soon as possible. She developed this once before, although we were lucky to have been able to afford an emergency vet visit. This time, I desperately need help. I don't want to lose my girl. I know she's not feeling well, and it breaks my heart. She will need ongoing care for this issue. My husband lost his job and I am disabled. I am waiting for a decision from Social Security. In the meantime, he is driving Uber Eats. That helps with the daily living bills but not any more than that. We live in small town Utah. There's not much business.
