Maximus has been with me since he was eight weeks old and is my cherished companion. He’s an 11-year-old Corgi, the only pet in the home. Known by most as Max (and also “Cute!”), he’s sweet, playful, and vibrant—always ready to brighten any day with a wiggle and a smile. Maximus was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor at OREV Veterinary Hospital. Surgery is urgent to stop it from spreading. Although he’s still happy and healthy, early treatment is critical to give him the best chance at a long, joyful life. Max is a sweet, gentle soul who loves snacks, walks, and playtime. He follows me everywhere and brightens every day with his charm, humor, and love—he believes everyone is his friend. He’s resilient and has already beaten cancer once. He is truly a ray of furry sunshine and a blessing with four (very short) legs. Maximus needs urgent surgery, costing at least $5–6K, far beyond my means as someone living on a fixed income due to disability. This is our love Gertrude (AKA Gertie). Gertrude came to our family from Three Little Pitties Rescue. She was found wandering the streets in Houston, TX. We had recently lost our 10 year old Pittie, Henley, 6 months prior when we saw Gertie's profile. Our 10 year old Boxer, Jasper, was missing his buddy and we were missing our snuggle bug. Gertie has been a blessing to us all. One day Jasper and Gertie were playing and Gertie slipped. She fell and tore her CCL. At first she was just limping a little and it seemed like some rest would do the trick. By the next morning, she could barely walk! We took her to the emergency vet and they dx her CCL tear. We confirmed with our family vet. Today we met with a wonderful surgeon from OREV Specialty Vet Care. Gertrude is a wonderful dog. She is the perfect companion to our family and to our 10 year old Boxer, Jasper. She loves to go for rides in the car, walks around the block, and sleep on the couch while SNORING loudly. Her favorite sleeping spots are the back of the couch with her head on the windowsill, in a rocking chair, and in the cat's bed. This was a significant unexpected expense just as we are preparing to send our second kiddo to college. We love animals and foster cats and kittens year round. We try our best to support others as we are able, but this caught us off guard and with no savings to cover it.

I found Diablo and her sister lucyfur from petfinder and drove out to pick them up from their foster.I picked the devil theme with their names and we also have a Satan..but then we have a kashmir too.so i threw off the theme a little My baby Diablo was recently diagnosed with bone cancer.we are awaiting her oncologist appointment thursday 25th and hopefully find out more about her timeline and care Diablo came into my life a month after my oldest cat had passed,and I was looking for a cat that looked like my other cat and when I saw her it was like looking at my baby that was gone.so she really helped me transition through the grieving process alot.she is my Angel Baby forever.! Im just a cashier and only make minimum wage so thousands of dollars I do not have in the bank.but I will sell all my stuff to try and afford the care needed for my baby
