Beans
Beans is a 2 year old Old English Bulldog in Palm Harbor, FL, who needs $1,000 for Quad Wheels.
Palm Harbor, FL
Beans was surrendered to Suncoast Animal League by an English Bulldog breeder at 3 months old because of his genetic issues. I am a medical foster for the shelter and fostered this cutie while we had him assessed by our specialists. At that time, he was deemed a hospice case and we were told he wouldn't make it to his first birthday. He is now 2 1/2 years old and living a full fun life. Beans was born with scoliosis, spinal bifida, shortened spinal cord syndrome, hydrocephalus, rotary nystagmus, shallow hip sockets and dwarfism. He is a patient of neurologist, Dr Kimura at Blue Pearl Specialty hospital. He is assessed about every 6 months for mobility, pain, neurological function so that I am providing the best care so he can live his best life. Beans is a special little guy because everyone he meets falls in love with his little squish face. He is a certified therapy dog visiting schools, hospitals and is part of a reading program at our local library. He is a shelter ambassador and attends special events to promote awareness for rescue and special needs dogs like him. Providing Beans with a quad cart for his mobility to be used while he is out meeting kids or at shelter events would mean the world to me. He is a silly & sassy boy who brightens the day of everyone he meets. This cart would help him continue to live a full comfy life

Isley
Isley is a 5 year old Poodle in Morriston, FL, who needs $2,750 for a 3D Printed Orthopedic Prosthetic.
Morriston, FL
Isley is my 5 year old standard poodle. Anyone who knows me knows she is my hot mess express and my baby. I’ve had her since she was 9 weeks old and is the dog who pushed me onto my love of the breed. Isley broke her leg when she was 10 months old being a normal accident prone puppy. She has had 4 surgeries in her leg - she had a plate placed on to help the fracture, and then that was infected so it was removed. But her fracture wasn’t strong enough and broke again, so she got another plate - and the. 2 years later that got infected and we removed it. But the bone isn’t strong enough anymore Isley is a happy go lucky baby. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She is so smart, loves to run and play and go ham on toys and her favorite game is playing “tag” with her siblings. She loves coming to work with me and going out on the town, showing off her fabulous hairdo. While she is amputated and she would be fine, as most tripods are, I know keeping her joints and bones healthy as can be long term would mean investing in an orthopedic prosthetic for her continued health.
