Tasha is a very sweet girl who deserves a second chance at a good life. She was abandoned and found on the top of a condemned building with another dog. She was taken in by animal control. That's when we got the call. We met Tasha and knew we had to help. During our evaluation of her we noticed she showed signs of abuse. She would wince and cower when we put our hand near her head. On a daily basis before we knew of her injury Tasha's foster would walk her 2 miles a day. They would visit neighbors' dogs here and there. She was well known around town. Two of the Rescues Fosters would share care, we call them Team Tasha!:-) One of the Fosters has multiple dogs. Tasha was in her glory! She absolutely LOVES dogs. She especially liked the one male dog. They were inseparable. Tasha is a special girl. She would brighten anyone's day. She is always looking like she is smiling. She loves playing fetch in the yard with her foster mom and snuggling on the couch. When it's time for bed she waits outside of her crate to be told to go in. Tasha has also learned all of the basic commands from her foster mom who is also a trainer. Tasha has a torn ACL which she needed to have surgery on. So, on Valentine's Day 2023 Tasha underwent her surgery. She is recovering well but it's a long recovery. Bleu's K9 Rescue is a small rescue organization. This one surgery has been very rough on our finances. If we received help with this very costly surgery, we would be able to help more homeless dogs with spay, neuter and getting dogs UTD on their vaccinations.
