Bella’s mother was a side of the road rescue of my family friend. I picked her out of the litter five days after she was born. I am 12 yo; she is my BEST FRIEND!!! Bella is having seizures that started today. Yesterday she had three accidents and didn’t feel well. I thought she ate something bad. She gets out of the fence no matter how many holes we repair. Landmark Animal Hospital will be $250 just for the office visit and bloodwork. I am home schooled and am with Bella most of every minute of most days. She is smart, loving, protective and the best dog. I wish she could tell me her thoughts because she has a lot of them! My family is struggling financially to have food, keep utilities on and not lose our home. My Dad’s industry went down last year because of Covid, then after that he had an injury and was not able to find work he could do until January. Bella 1st pet, BF, protector…

The day we got Tee cup, we were at petsense for an adoption event, I’d help my mom out and while we were there a woman wanted to give this small litter a new home. Me and my family were fosters so we took them home and since then Tee cup was my baby girl We don’t specifically know what’s wrong all we know is she has been puking blood. We are at Outwest urgent animal hospital in Little Rock we get to take her home but the vet bill isn’t nice. Tee cup loves to play with piggy and the rest of her pack mates, she loves tug-a-war and getting the ball before the rest of them. She also loves water, it’s the funniest thing to see her play with the hose, she also will speak her mind even if her barking makes your ears bleed. I only have about 1,000 saved up. I have been saving for a car for months, and then this kind of popped out of nowhere, I can barely afford it. I feel hopeless and I still don’t even know if Tee Cup will actually be okie….
Bugg

Bugg came into our lives a little more than a year ago as a rescue. A few days ago we noticed him becoming lethargic and weaker in his hind legs. We immediately took him to the vet and he was started on meds. Despite immediate intervention, it progressed quickly. This morning 12/31/22 we woke up to him being paralyzed in his back legs. This money will pay for his surgery to fix his legs Bugg is the light of our lives. Before he came to us he was neglected and lived most of his life in a kennel. He came to us afraid of the world. He blossomed with love. He became my best friend. He accompanies me to work daily at the vet clinic where I work, and is the sassiest, smartest, kindest, bravest, most wonderful dog to ever walk this earth. He brings joy to those around him. Bugg’s favorite thing in the world is to “go to work”. I work at a veterinary clinic and he is one of the clinic dogs that gets to come to the office. He is always bringing smiles to those around him. He consistently is on his best behavior and is ready to be my best friend and loyal companion. Just having him in my office sleeping next to my feet is the best feeling … Bugg was diagnosed with IVDD about a year ago. (Intervertebral cervical disc disease) which is a degenerative disorder of the spine. His case was being medically managed before this sudden onset of paralysis. This surgery will aim to decrease the pressure on the spinal cord and help him regained full mobility of his legs. Our dogs are our children. We have suffered through years of infertility and a stillbirth … our dogs are the only living children we have… I can’t imagine losing him this way… the surgery is the most successful when done right away and this will get him immediate care.
