Apollo
Apollo is a 1 year old German Wirehaired Pointer in Blue Springs, MO, who needs $9,545 for Gastric Dilatation Volumes Correction.
Blue Springs, MO
Apollo is a German wired haired pointer that came into our life at six weeks old. He turned one on April 11th after being at training for three weeks, the trainer called and said, I needed to come and pick him up immediately. Something was going wrong after picking him up and taking him to the E. R it turns out he was diagnosed with bloat after his stomach was twisted. The doctors did an amazing h Our dog suffered a sudden, life-threatening emergency due to bloat (GDV), requiring immediate surgery to survive. The experience was terrifying and financially overwhelming. They are a beloved part of our family, and any support will help us continue their recovery and care. Apollo's favorite activities include chasing birds. I'm digging up moles and cuddling on the couch while watching TV All 3 of my children. We'll fight over who gets to cuddle with him first Unfortunately, I just started a new job and have not developed the savings I once had, and this came on five days after catching up on my mortgage, I was three months behind on. This came out of nowhere. It was not an expense. We were expecting

Jack
Jack is a 12 year old American Shorthair in Kansas City , MO, who needs $7,000 for Emergency Lung Collapse Treatment.
Kansas City, MO
Jack came into my life in 2015 after being found abandoned in a car. He was about 5 months old and raised around dogs, so he grew up thinking he was one—running, trilling, and playing differently than most cats. He lives with me, my partner, and another cat, and has been my constant companion through every life change since. Jack is currently at Overland Park Veterinary Emergency & Specialty after suddenly struggling to breathe. X-rays show a collapsed lung, likely related to his long history of asthma. He requires oxygen support to survive right now. This is an emergency, and further testing and treatment are needed to determine if his lung can recover. Jack is a gentle, quirky soul who greets me with soft trills and wiggle tails. He’s shy at first but warms up with quiet curiosity, always coming to me for comfort. I’ve trained him to spin, sit, give head-boop kisses, and stretch up to grab my hand. He loves Cheez-Its and gives the most intense, full-body head boops. He’s my “Jack-bunny,” my little pumpkin prince, and my emotional anchor. This emergency comes after months of financial strain, including supporting my household alone, a recent car theft, and preparing for our first child. I want to give Jack every chance to survive, but I cannot afford the life-saving care he urgently needs.

Merle
Merle is a 9 year old Redbone Coonhound in Osawatomie, KS, who needs $2,500 for Vinblastine.
Osawatomie, KS
Merle wandered into our life from a puppy mill at an estimated 4 weeks old. He is our gentle giant that loves snacks, food, sneaking food off someone’s plate, sneaking food out of the refrigerator and sneaking into the trash to of course, get food. He also enjoys long walks and playtime and cuddles on the couch! Although he takes up most of the room on the sofa he takes up more room in our hearts. Early October last year Merle was diagnosed with a grade two Mast Cell Tumor. He has undergone two operations and many Chemotherapy appointments. The doctors believe he can be treated still and enjoy his home with his family for the rest of his days. The Overland Park Emergency Vet and Specialty Hospital has been nothing short of amazing for Merle, they are now family. Merle holds a dear place in all of our hearts and he holds us even closer. He may even love us more than he loves dinner. Merle loves playing with kids and sleeping in bed with whoever will allow. These treatments, are a sudden expense. We have dealt with loss of income and a few other financial set backs but are determined to do right by Merle. Any support would help.
