I bought my cat, Dipper, off of a Craigslist when he was 8 weeks old. He is a sweet cat that loves his worm on a string, being held like a baby, and head pats. He turned 4 in June, and loves his older brother Jitters. I live with him and my other cat in a small place in Seattle and is regularly visited by my friends. I sit and watch love Island with him and Jitters, and play with him often. Dipper had a urinary tract block that was removed, and because I couldn’t afford to have him hospitalized he was sent home with a catheter in place. If I am unable to raise money I will be taking him to a humane society to be hospitalized, on 08/05, but due to the humane society recently taking on multiple puppies with parvo they would prefer I take him to a different place. Dipper is special because he purrs just from you placing your hand on him. He loves to be held like a baby and getting help for big stretches. He loves meeting new people and will try and sit in their laps during their first meeting. He loves to watch tv shows and movies with me and playing with his worm on a string. His favorite place to lay is on the Mickey Mouse blanket on my couch. I am a full time college student, and I was able to scrape together a few hundred dollars from friends and family, but I can’t go into anymore debt because of student loans. I need to be able to get him the care he needs, his happiness means everything to me.

Sammi is my wife Lilly’s childhood kitty, and came into my life five years ago when Lilly and I moved in together. She quickly became the angel child to our household of two anxious artists and a fluffy black demon (Salem, her five year old brother). Recently, Sammi has developed unknown gastrointestinal issues that cause her a lot of pain & discomfort. She’s had all her senior bloodwork done and her kidney function/ thyroid/ white blood cell count are all healthy as can be, so we want to do an ultrasound to see if that can find anything else. Sammi is the most emotionally intelligent creature. Whenever I’m at my lowest, she’s there with snuggles and purrs to help heal what hurts. I truly don’t know how my wife and I could cope without her. Eventually she’ll need to pass on, but that time isn’t here yet, and we want nothing more than to have our happy, goofy girl back An ultrasound for a cat costs $801 from our local vet office. With all the testing we’ve done thus far, plus the special prescription diet she’s on at $9 a day, we’ve quickly reached the limit of our savings and credit cards and could really use some help

Snuggles and I have been together for 15 years almost 16 years now. I was so young when she was born that I barely remember what life was like without her. Snuggles is having a medical emergency. Last week I noticed a lump on under her arm and had it checked out as soon as I could. I was told she would need to have surgery in order to get rid of the lump and that the vet was worried it could be cancerous. Then I was billed $1,081 today for her examination and labs. As a working college student in the middle of the city this is all my savings. Snuggles is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She’s always shy at first but once she’s comfortable with you she loves the attention. Every night she sleeps above my head on my pillow, during the day she stands guard in the door frames, and waits for me to come home from class or work. Snuggles getting this surgery would help so much! Although my parents want to help, financial blocks exist and they are not able to. I work part time as often as I can a week while also taking classes full time yet I make such little in comparison to rising prices.
