Help Winnie get Exam and unknown follow up after her exam. — Ariel, WA

Ariel, WA

Winnie came into our lives when I rescued her mom who was dumped while she was pregnant. We ended up having to keep Winnie and 2 of her brothers Colt and Ruger along with their mom Remi. Winnie has a great personality, she loves to run and play with her 2 brothers and tackle them to the ground. She is very loving and loves to cuddle with dad. Winnie had her first heat and we were told to allow that before spaying her. Unfortunately she got loose from our yard and ended up with a litter of pups. She now has a swollen, hot to the touch, rock hard mammary gland that is causing her extreme pain and discomfort. Winnie and her 2 brothers and her mother all bonded very tightly to our family and they all mean the world to us because even through tough times they are still very appreciative of us giving them a home where they are loved everyday I have been layed off work for over a year. I just don't have the unexpected high vet cost they are requiring for us to get Winnie the medical attention she desperately needs.

Help Maxx get Blood transfusion, Abdominal ultrasound, care — Chehalis, WA

Chehalis, WA

Our family fostered Maxx's mom while she was pregnant with him. She came to us from the streets of Tijuana. She was a sweet boxer we named Bella. We chose Maxx from the litter of 6 pups she had & found homes for the rest among close friends & family. Maxx is the best boy. He is loyal to all he loves but even more so to his momma (me). He sleeps with me. He's my side kick, my ride or die. Maxx has been on steroids the last 2 weeks for a hematoma on his ear. A few days ago he started acting a little off, drinking more water, but assumed it was the meds. Today I took him in to find that he has a GI bleed and needs a blood transfusion & abdominal ultrasound. That's just the start. I have no idea because we are being transferred to an ER vet He's means the world to mean & my family. We've been through so much together. He's helped raise the grandkids. We just lost our other dog to old age. I'm not ready to lose him too I am the sole provider in my home at this time as my husband was injured at his last job. The verbal estimate my vet gave me is $5,000-10,000. I do not have those kind of funds. I am applying for every kind of card possible and checking on taking an equity loan on my home.
