Gemili
Gemili is a 8 month old Mix-Breed in Tampa, FL, who needs $2,500 for FHO Surgery.
Tampa, FL
Gemi came into my life as a result of a beautiful friendship with her foster momma. Gemi was just 1.2 pounds when they found her as a stray. Now she lives happy with her cat towers and siblings. She loves to play with her big brother and snuggle her older sister. Gemili has a fracture at the "ball" of her hip joint. Because she is just 9 months old, this is likely a growth plate injury where the ball has slipped away from the bone. The Symptoms: This broken bone creates intense friction and pain when she tries to move, which is why she is not putting weight on that leg. She needs an FHO and we’re working with Parkview Animal Hospital. Gemi loves to play with her siblings. She’s the most adventurous sweet girl who is always happy to snuggle and purr you to sleep with her. She loves to play with her pasta toys (her full name and all her siblings are pasta types). Gemi loves to shred toilet paper and will legitimately chomp pieces of it out I currently am working full time two jobs and still cannot afford the surgery fees. I’m looking to raise any type of funds that can get my sweet girl out of pain and back to her normal happy self. I can’t stand seeing her hurting and playing the waiting game.

Lilly
Lilly is an 8-year-old Pit-mix in Saint Petersburg, FL, who needs $2,000 for Torn ACL surgery.
Saint Petersburg, FL
I found Lilly about 8 years ago around my neighborhood. She is such a happy and joyful dog. We both live together with my Frenchie, Rose. My friend literally bought an expensive dog and said she was not a fan and just gave her away. So, Lilly, Rose, and I all live together in the small home I rent. I wanted them to have a backyard, so I searched long and wide for our little paradise. Lilly loves having a little sister, the day I brought Rose home, she was a bit cautious. She didn't know what to make of this little creature with so much energy. Now they love to take naps and play together. Because of Lilly's leg, playing is a bit more tougher for her nowadays. But she tries to entertain Rose for as long as she can. She's special because she into my life when I needed her most. I was this wild girl in her late teens who no sense of direction or purpose. And Lilly gave me that. For the longest it has been me and her against the world, as cheesy as that sounds. She taught me patience, responsibility, love and how to enjoy the moment. She has given me everything and it's only right that I try to do the same for her. Lilly tore her ACL. She has been putting up a brave front but I know it is getting painful. And the pet meds are not helping as much, pet insurance said that because she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when I got her, that mean that's a pre-existing condition and so they would not cover anything. She is a longtime patient of Dr. Para at Parkview Animal Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. I am really on a fixed income. I have been trying to save, but it is hard when everything keeps hitting and you have to try to decide which bills are important and which can be put off. It seems like I can never save enough for Lilly's needed surgery.
