Gilbert

Gilbert is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Oxford , AL, who needs $500 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Oxford, AL

My daughter and I have had Gilbert since he was about 6 weeks old. He was born in Lakeland,Florida. He is our baby and loves to cuudle. Our last cat was taken from us so we habe put all our love into him! We moved to Alabama and he rode in a Uhaul in the front seat for 12 hours and it didn't phase him at all! He rode right up front in my daughter's lap the whole trip! We love him! For about a week he gas been hiding away, he has drainage in one eye which I've tried to treat on my own. He was yowling like in pain, now he won't eat and won't cone out of hiding. He's usually up and about in the house. He felt hot like maybe he had a fever? Whatever it is he needs medical attention asap. We live in Alabama now and the hospital is Pell City Animal Hospital. He is a very stubborn, ornery guy lol I have spoiled him by getting him a treat everytime I go to the store so when I come in with bags, he runs up to me wanting to see what he got. He loves to play hide and seek with my daughter. He's more serious with me and treats her like his big sister. He enjoys bird watching in the kitchen window in his leisure time. He's a sweetheart and we love him so June 13 I had to have a full hysterectomy. I didn't want to because I'm a single mom on one income. The doctor said if I put it off again, cancer would spread through my body. I HAD no choice. I was living paycheck to paycheck,so now I have nothing. We would be devastated

Titty titty

Titty is a 1-year-old DSH in Talladega, AL, who needs $75 for Sterilization.

Talladega, AL

Titty and her sister were both rescued from a terrible situation. The owner before us was going to dump them off in the middle of nowhere, so my boyfriend and I stepped in and took them home with us. Titty sleeps in the bed usually tucked away by my legs or at times she'll climb right on my chest and fall asleep, she is constantly seeking attention and loves affection. Really the sweetest cat ever. Her and her sister are constantly chasing each other. Playing hide an seek... But she is also the more laid back and chill cat out of the two. She love going outside and chasing bird and other animals. I cannot afford to have my cats spayed and if they were to get pregnant I wouldn't be able to afford taking care of the kittens. I'm afraid if I don't get them spayed I'll have to take them to a shelter in fear of them becoming pregnant. I am on fixed income, and have a toddler and I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant. I can't afford to spay my cats and I can't afford to take care of kittens if they become pregnant.

Daisy

Daisy is a 2-month-old Papillon in Talladega, AL, who needs $300 for Dewormer, Flea Treatment, and Puppy Vaccinations.

Talladega, AL

Daisy was given to me for my birthday present by my husband. It was meant to be because he accidently ran into the breeder. She was selling the pups for $100 ea.I have had her about 2 weeks now. When we got her, she was/is infested with fleas and worms badly. I've tried everything know for her age/ size to rid her and nothing seems to be working. Daisy is the only pet in our household, and she has the sweetest personality. She is very gentle and loving. She interacts with both my husband and I very well. She is very spoiled and gets a lot of attention because she is our baby. I'm a huge animal lover and have just recently been able to be in our home with my husband due to multiple health issues the past year. Daisy has so many cute and funny things she does when playing with us. She is so gentle and sweet and so easy to love. Daisy doesn't have any past health issues are veterinarian records, because she was just born Aug. 25th. She is only about 6 weeks old right now. This makes it really difficult to help her, but terrified she will get sick and we will lose her. I have had lots if life threatening health issues and unable to work. My husband is trying to do it all himself. Daisy desperately needs to have her issues fixed, but it's just not financially feasible for us right now.

Molly

Molly is a 13-year-old American Bulldog in Pell City, AL, who needs $300 for dental cleaning, tooth extractions, x-rays and pain management.

Pell City, AL

Molly came to us as a neighborhood rescue case. She had roamed the neighborhood for two weeks and was skittish of people approaching her. After this time frame, she became determined to live with us, in our yard, because she would watch me walk my dog, Zeke, every night. Zeke wasn't really fond of this idea, but Molly wouldn't leave our backyard. That's how she got adopted. Molly lives with 2 other rescue dogs. They have their own room to share together. She would like to be the Alpha, especially since she has gotten a little grumpier with her teeth needing to be repaired. She loves to go on car rides and she prefers to be walked on her own these days. We have created her a nook all of her own now, to help reduce tension with one of our other dogs who is younger. I don't have a savings plan for pet care or emergencies. I work at a lower entry-level job and am able to provide basic care for my rescue pups, but I am not able to afford surgeries or dental care of this magnitude. She has a dental emergency of sorts, related to aging and lack of dental care. I did not realize how bad her teeth had gotten over the past few months until she got into a fight with the little dog. That's when I noticed her front teeth looking pretty weird. I thought it was a result of the fight, but the vet told me it was really the aging process. I have never had dogs with dental issues before Molly is special because she is a survivor. She would prefer to be in a single pet home, but she's a good sport and shares with the other pets. She gives great hugs and this is one thing she can do better than any other doggo I've ever had. She's very smart and curious about things in her environment, just like a person.
