In June of 2022 (this year) my daughter went to stay in NYC with her best friend. Her friend’s sister had moved out abruptly leaving behind 2 dogs that had lived most of their life crated. Chickie (reigns mother) had a seizure one night and had to be put down. My daughter asked me if I would consider taking Reign so she wasn’t alone and had care. Reign sleeps with me, when I have to travel for work she is sad but she sleeps with my daughter who she’s known for 3 years. Her favorite place to be found when missing is in the clothes hamper. She loves car rides (surprising for a dog that never saw outside. But as long as it means going somewhere I’m going then she dances waiting to be carried to the car. Oh little Miss Reign … she wakes in the morning almost trying to crawl inside your skin because she’s happy to see you again even though she slept next to you all night. She’s great with the guilt eyes if you ever head to the other side of the door even for a second. If there’s a bag on a floor it’s going to become a bed. Honestly after 9 years of limited contact any touch and attention she smiles I knew when I brought her home the last day of June that she had health problems. You can see her growth in the pics. It didn’t deter me … I wanted to show her all the love I could so she’d know happy. It took until 8/24/2022 for her first visit but we got the prognosis of tumors consistent with cancer and a hernia that has her spleen inside it(the large growth) … vets are Penobscot Veterinary Services. I’m trying to get a business up and running. It would be hard to pay a lot for a surgery right now. But watching Reign suffer through cancer when we could remove the tumors and hope for a better outcome would be the best option. Even without surgery there will be ongoing care

Petey is a 2-year-old Pit bull mix Dog in Bangor , ME, who needs $2,000 for CrCL surgery on both hind legs.

Petey came to us from humane society in Waterville me. He was a rescue from Mississippi. He was left in crate with no food or water. He was 26lbs. He is now 90lbs. He is the sweetest boy ever. He needs CrCL surgery on both hind legs. One is a tear and other is complete tear. We had a lameness test done which gave us this information. I am disable and can not come up with the money for surgery Petey loves swimming and play ball but is unable to do anything. We have him on Deramaxx for inflammation and 150 ml of tramadol twice a day He has to be on leash at all times. Petey had a rough start to his life and now has a loving family but needs these surgeries to have any quality of life. Please help our best friend Petey has a pug for a sister who he loves a lot He guard our home. He loves everyone dogs and people He sleeps in the bed and is ready about 7pm. He will not go until we do. He loves swimming and camping. He love laying in the sun. He greets everyone and says hi I’m Petey. He protects his sister who is old Petey is looking for help to pay his surgery’s. My family is on fixed income and hates watching me in pain. My vet is Penobscot Veterinary Services,LLC., who did my lameness test. My vet does not do this surgery so she will need to refer us to one in my area that does. The doctor suggested TPLO surgery. I need CrCL surgery on both hind legs Fixed income no way of paying for surgeries It would mean the would to be able to fix our best friend Petey so he can have a good life without pain I have never met a sweet guy as he is even in pain
