Hello everyone, this is my boy Tank. I rescued him from a person who couldn't take care of him. I got him about 4 months ago and have exhausted myself in getting many different opinions and prices from veterinarians. I found one semi affordable but I need some assistance which is hard for me asking because I try my hardest not to have to depend on anyone else. I have grown to love this wonderful boy. At home he sleeps well just about anywhere. He has a hard time hearing us because of the cauliflower ears but he sure does do good with hand signals. He loves my daughter and usually ends up curled next to her. My husband is disabled and he knows when something is wrong with him and won't leave his side. My finances are pretty tight. I'm only able to work part time because I'm in nursing school, which even that is getting hard for me. My husband is disabled and I have a toddler, so I'm doing the best that I can with what I got. I've saved up $200 right now. Tank has baseball cauliflower ears, he requires 2 separate surgeries that will cost $2000 each side. The vet is unsure if they'll be able to save his ear drum so he might come out of this procedure deaf which breaks my heart but his quality of life is important to me. This procedure is an "ear ablation of the ear canal." Tank loves to play fetch with his ball. His personality is the greatest part of him. He's allergic to so much so he gets mad at me when I won't share, he does the cutest side eye, sad puppy face ever. He doesn't understand it's for his own safety. So I'll go get him a treat he's able to enjoy and he's a happy camper and will walk up to me and place his flat face against mine in appreciation.
