Milkshake
Meet Milkshake: A Mother's Journey from Struggle to Safety
Friendswood, TX • Three Little Pitties Rescue
Milkshake’s story should have been one of love and comfort from the very start, especially during her pregnancy. Instead, a caring woman from Three Little Pitties Rescue came across this sweet, gentle dog while visiting a mud park with her family. Struggling to care for her newborn puppies, and in desperate need of safety, she brought her to the nursery near the rescue in Houston, TX. For the first time, Milkshake and her puppies were warm, cared for, and loved. But just as things started looking up, the worker noticed that Milkshake began bleeding from her rectum out of nowhere. Milkshake was rushed to the vet, where she was diagnosed with a prolapsed rectum—an excruciating condition that required immediate surgery. Her caretakers say that through all of her pain, she has never shown hesitation or grumpiness towards anyone, that she is beyond gentle and sweet, and she gives the softest kisses as if to thank her rescuers. Now, she’s in recovery, healing slowly, and awaiting X-rays to ensure she’s on the right path. Her puppies are healthy and in foster homes, currently waiting to be adopted—but Milkshake still needs your help. Your donation can ensure she gets the continued care she needs to fully recover and find the loving home she deserves. She kept her puppies safe in a desperate time, so please don’t look past helping Milkshake in showing her that she won’t have to fight alone.

Flower
Flower is a 10-year-old Mixed Breed in Friendswood, TX, who needs $2,000 for Mass Removal, Dental and Extraction, Treatment of Skin Infection, Heartworm Treatment.
Friendswood, TX • Three Little Pitties Rescue
Flower was dumped in the middle of a neighborhood in Alvin, TX. She was seen wandering up and down the street for over three days, lost and confused. She finally stopped on one porch, where two special children begged that she be saved. These two children had also been abandoned and "rescued," and they wanted Flower to be safe like they now are in their adoptive home. Flower is currently living with a family of three - a mom and two children. She is loving and adores both kids. She was friendly from the first moments they brought her in, and has settled in to become part of the family. This dog has been such a blessing for the boy and girl - they have loved taking care of her and showing her she is safe. Flower is special because despite what she's been through, she is trusting and gentle with people. Her skin and body bear the scars of a difficult life, but she seems thankful to be fed, safe, and loved. Flower has a severe skin infection that required oral medication as well as medicated baths. She had a large mass on her stomach removed, along with a spay and extensive dental work for broken teeth. She is heartworm positive, and will need treatment for that in addition to routine vaccines. Flower's expenses are estimated to eventually be in excess of $3,000. This dog means so much to these children, and they want her to be well and a part of their family for a long time. We need help to make that happen.
