Athena has been a valued family member for about a week. She was listed on Craigslist for free as a 1.5 year old puppy; shortly after receiving her and getting her home that night, we realized this was not a 1.5 year old dog. Athena was living in a house with several other German Shepherd Dogs before beginning her new life with our family in our apartment; meaning she wasn’t used to the stairs. Slowly, she got adjusted to them, however, one day out of the blue decided to jump down the stairs leading to the grass and didn’t stick the landing too well. We will be taking her to Pet Doctor along Oracle road. Athena has been with us for only a short amount of time, but her role in our family is already well treasured. She is a best friend to two little kids, as well as our Cane Corso. We are asking for help because we are midst in a family court battle at the moment as well as made a move to our new home recently. Donations are appreciated and needed.

Gracie joined our family 10 years ago from a Home Depot parking lot. She is beautiful pitbull mix. She is a sweet and loving dog. Gracie has a tumor growing on her left side that needs to be surgically removed. Her tumor has broken open. It bleeds and obviously bothers her. She is constantly licking it. The tumor is bothersome when she walks so she stays in her box most of the time. We are hoping that by removing the tumor we can give her more happy moments in her life. The pet doctor will be removing the tumor and sending it out for more testing. Gracie is the last dog that my deceased husband left behind. Gracie is a gentle and loving dog. She is also a great guard dog who likes to alert the family to guests and strangers. As well as local wildlife like coyotes I am on a fixed income and don’t save for unforeseen events like this. Having Gracie run around the yard chasing lizards will be a great sight to see again

Zeus is my best friend we adopted him in 2019 from a family that didn't want him and he joined our family like he was meant for us he lives with us and his other doggo siblings with a giant fenced yard that he can run around in and have fun in he's the best boy and he still a pup aging at only 4 years old Zeus loves to cuddle and sleep with us in our bed and he always greets us with his giant toy tire and he loves to show off and carry around the house. He gets riddled with excitement any time we wake up in the morning or even come back from checking the mail. He's a huge part of our family and we aren't complete without him Zeus has to be one of the most human dogs I've ever had.its like he understands what we tell him when we talk to him and sure does talk back to us when he wants to play or to go outside or to even eat. He enjoys going to golden corral too because they spoil him there with treats he is our everything Zeus recently started showing symptoms of not wanting to eat any food or even his favorite treats. He seems to have something going on with his stomach and will only drink water currently and he's been like this for almost 2 days. We spoke with a vet at a local emergency clinic here in town and recommended we bring him in if nothing changes but they said it would be 600-700 dollars for the cost I've recently started a new job and am awaiting my first check but I won't get paid for another week and we are stuck with only 150 dollars towards it. We normally have funds for stuff like this but we are just down and out currently

I live in a small apt in AZ. Sylvester is my baby boy, well not so much baby anymore as he is about 12. He has been with me thru thick and thin. Through many moves and changes in my life. He has comforted me in some of my darkest days and is truly my best friend. He loves me to death and I him. There is not a day that passes that he doesn't bring a smile to my face and joy to my heart. I live with my brother and 13 yr old boy. He loves us all but he is definitely daddy's boy. He loves to be brushed and would like nothing more than to be petted all day long. He sometimes sleeps on his back and in some strange places also. But that's a cat i guess. He loves his wet food but can't eat dry right now due to his bad teeth and infection. Being on a fixed income that just covers the bills I feel like I'm letting down my best friend by not being able to get him the care he needs. Seeing him bravely suffer in silence tears my heart up. I can't bear the thought of losing him to something that can be fixed. Sylvester had been losing weight for awhile and I didn't know why. Being on a fixed income I had to save for a few months to afford the low cost vet visit. His breath by that time was rancid and I just knew he was having dental issues. The Pet Doctor here in Tucson confirmed that he had a VERY bad infection and needs some teeth removed. His antibiotics have worked for now Sherif Lewis is his Dr. Sylvester has a tendency to meow, (cry) for me when he doesn't see me so that is why his nickname is Boo Boos. I always get a laugh when he has a blep moment. When his tongue is sticking out a little and he doesn't seem to know it. It's so silly. His antics with his toys and especially his favorite snack, flies keeps me in stitches. He is such a lover boy, cuddles is the order of the day.

This little runt was trying to be sold for a large price even though she has a huge hole in her abdomen. Yes she was born with a large abdominal hernia. The breeder said her vet stitched her up and then told me she got the puppies and put them with a whelped. Clearly this breeder is not in it for the love of the breed. I researched and consulted with some professionals and carefully presented the information to the breeder but told her I would only take her and give her a small rehoming fee. Because I was able to give her information she did decided to let me rescue this little one. This girl already has 2 strikes against her. 1. She is the runt and 1/2 the size of her siblings. 2. She has a large abdominal hernia that absolutely needs attention. I too am broken as she is, I have PTSD and thankfully it is a mild case but none the less I require a service dog. I lost my service dog back in July suddenly. Suspecting that she had a mass on her spleen but the clinic I took her to just wanted to do testing and testing and didnt listen to what I was telling them, To the point that I was told my 10yr old needed to loose weight, but I had told this DVM she lost 7 lbs in the last 3 months. And 2 days later she suddenly left me. Smidge is what I named this little runt of a girl and she is steeling my heart so fast. She is smart and willing to learn, she is attaching and looking to me for everything so far however, she has the need to pee every 5 seconds, well seems like that. I am hoping that there will not be any bladder issues on top of the hernia.
