I first got Earl my freshman year of college. Like a lot of people, we don't make the smartest decisions our first year alone and away from home. But Earl was my best decision; I got him from a humane society that told me his previous owners said he was too anxious and not a great fit for them. Earl was completely misunderstood! he travels with me to school all over the Midwest! Earl got a really bad blockage in his bladder and I was not able to get to it as fast as I could. I left for a few days to help my girlfriend move into her new apartment and came back to lots of blood and Earl lying on the floor looking exhausted. I took him to a hospital, and they told me it would be almost 4k to treat him. Then I took him to the Pet Resource Center in KC, and they took Earl in. Earl is my best friend. He's a very clingly cat that loves to be around me in everything I do. He's come out to multiple of my baseball games and watched me to play. He comes outside with me and watches me fix my truck, and even test drives it for me after! He loves company too and encourges people to go pick up his string to play with. And every night without a doubt will lay on TOP of someone. Earl is my ESA animal; he helps me with my stress and depression when I'm at college. He's helped me through so many times and now its my time to help him. The problem is I spend all my money on paying for school and sheltering him. Any money sent isn't for me its for HIM!

My girlfriend had Speedy when we got together and speedy is now 14 years old. We also have a 9 year old pit bull that absolutely adores her and loves to irritate her. Speedy is such a huge part of our lives and we couldn't imagine life without her. She is my girlfriends emotional support animal. She recently became sick and has been throwing up for almost a week and hasn't ate since. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have her at pet resource center of kansas city. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance Speedy is such a huge part of our lives, obviously. She likes to antagonize our dog by gently swatting at home and making him freak out. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. She's an extremely easy going cat that is an integral part of our family. If we were to lose her not only would it crush us but it would destroy our Bubba I was in a hit and run car accident towards the end of March which has kept me out of work for 3 months. I return to work next week but that doesn't help right now. I got a car on the 5th, she got sick the 11th. It would mean the world to us to have her back to herself

Deja has been with me for many years now. I rescued him from a brutal winter storm in 2013. It took him a little while to trust me but once he did, he became the most loving cat I’ve ever owned. We live together in an apartment with my two dogs, and he gets along with them beautifully. They are all my family, and I can’t imagine my life without any of them. Deja has resorptive lesions which make it very painful for him to chew. The pain sometimes becomes so severe he gets very sick and won’t eat or drink. He requires surgery for these lesions and I plan to have this scheduled at the Pet Resorce Center of Kansas City as they are the most affordable place I have found. Deja is extremely loving and gentle, even with other cats. I also have 2 dogs and they all love each other very much. I have a 2 year old grandson and although Deja is very cautious around him, he allows my grandson to pet him. Deja loves to eat and loves his belly rubbed. He often gets the zoomies and runs around the apartment like a playful little kitten. I live alone and my rent is very high so I struggle to pay that along with my other bills. I was able to raise $600 for his surgery thinking that would be sufficient but when I took him in for his consult, they told me it was going to cost $1090 for his surgery.

Jasper was a rescue from a shelter when he was 3 years old. He has not had any big medical emergencies other than a cyst on his neck that burst years ago. He lives ay home with my husband and I, and our two other kitties (Thomas and Nelson). Jasper is is an 11 year old cat that is in need of tooth extractions. We would like to get them removed before they become a larger problem. The pet hospital that we are using for Jasper's teeth extractions is Pet Resource Center of Kansas City. Our Jasper is a loving cat. He greets us when we arrive home from work and makes sure we say bye before leaving. He loves pets and cuddles. He has been with us since he was 3. He LOVES laser pointers and playing with his brothers. He brings so much joy to our lives and we adore him. I recently lost a job that I depended on heavily. I have been working part time while getting a certificate at KCKCC to become an EMT. My husband pays most of the bills while I have been trying to get back on my feet.

My daughter rescued him when he was just a few days old we found him behind our old house with his whiskers and paws burned and spray paint down his back. We took him home cleaned him up got his shots got him neutered and chipped and he's been part of our family since He was attacked by a dog. His leg is broken badly and he needs it amputated. He is receiving treatment at pet resource center Kansas city. The estimate is around 1000 dollars He is both of my daughter's best friend. He is a part of our family. He is very playful and very outgoing. He loves a good long snuggle. He's the laughter in our home I am currently out of work and We are currently going thru the rose brooks program, and our funds are very low almost non existent at the moment. I just don't know what to do.

I found déjà when he came to my door during a severe winter storm. He was meowing and meowing at my back door, extremely cold and hadn’t eaten in days. I let him in and he ran in the house immediately but hid for about a week. After that, he warmed up to me and became the most loving cat I’ve ever owned. He has been with me ever since and that was approximately 11 years ago. Déjà has what is called resorptive lesions, which make his mouth extremely painful and he is unable to eat. This often causes him to even have nausea and vomiting because of the pain. He will not eat or drink for several days and this is very detrimental to his health and well-being. My cat has been with me for 11 years and he is the most loving sweetest cat I have ever owned. I also have two dogs, and they love déjà very much. Deja has been a part of my family for a very long time. I hate seeing him suffer, and I am very concerned about his health. He needs to get dental work done, including surgery for his resorptive lesions. Make very little money and it is everything I can do to keep up with my rent and bill bills. Dasha is a part of my family and I love him dearly and I hate seeing him suffer.
