Bentley

Bentley is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Pomona , CA, who needs $2,000 for Tumor Removal.

Pomona, CA

Bentley came into our lives as an abandoned puppy. My girlfriend’s son found him in a box on a freeway on-ramp. As he was driving he saw him peek his head up and he stopped and picked him up. We all loved him so much from that moment on. He’s been my best friend for 6 years now. I don’t know what I’d do without him. We live alone together. But he visits my girlfriend’s house often. Bentley has always been so energetic and playful. One day about 3 weeks ago he was limping and became a little lethargic. We took him to the vet several times and noticed that he has a hard mass on his left shoulder blade, which has affected his mobility. A biopsy showed spindle cell carcinoma. We need to remove the tumor so he will still be with us. He is such a good boy. He is the smartest dog I know!! He brings us his toys or a ball. He knows the difference. He loves the dog park and my girlfriend’s dogs. He loves visiting her house. He is so smart. When he wants our spot on the bed he’ll run to the door and bark to get let out. Once we go to open the door, he runs and jumps in our spot. He gets us Everytime! He gets so excited to go in the car! He’s my best bud! I, unfortunately do not have a savings. I live paycheck to paycheck. I can not bare to think of life without Bentley. He’s a good dog and doesn’t deserve this. I wish I had money saved in case of an emergency like this but I don’t make that much. I work hard for him.

Rusty

Rusty is a 9-year-old Tabby in Pomona, CA, who needs $666 for Feline dental.

Pomona, CA

I had just lost my beloved socks Kitty when a friend told me that her cat was pregnant and was due to have kittens in a little while. I waited patiently until the kittens were born and I live close to her so I spent at least two days a week watching the kitties and it was just so amazing. I never thought I had room in my heart again for another CAT but then the kitties came along. I took home both the firstborn and the runt I named the firstborn Rusty and the runt was named Mario. I had a roommate at the time he took a liking to Mario and gave him all kinds of attention. I took a liking to Rusty and we went from there he's just too amazing to put into words what he has done for my life. Both kitties get along well although Rusty is the king of the castle! If he doesn't have the procedure he could die sooner because of infection in his heart, liver and kidneys. I live on Social Security disability and there's just not that much left at the end of the month. He's my companion and I don't know what I would do without him. Both my cats were healthy I never had any problems with him and I watch him constantly. I know if something's wrong and Rusty started doing some strange behaviors. He was very protective of his mouth he wouldn't let me look at it, so I took him to the vet at Pomona Valley Veterinary Hospital. Dr Mann saw him and gave me the results he had a loose and rotting teeth. I know you're not supposed to have a favorite but Rusty is my favorite! Mario just likes to be petted all the time and then he goes off on his own. Rusty stays with me all the time he never lets me out of his sight. We have a bond that is so special that it's hard to put into words. I would say that if he was a human being, he be my soulmate we trust each other completely.
